How does this place not have 5 stars?! I mean have you never tried the Granada burger? If not you’re seriously missing out, it’s life changing. Frosty queen really is the only place you can drive through and be sure that you’re getting quality and not some massively produced mystery meat burger. You can literally taste that the patty is fresh and never frozen. Don’t forget to get an ice cream cone before you leave or a funnel cake :))

This used to be my families go to place but the last few times have been awful. The last two times I’ve ordered breakfast burritos the hashbrowns have been undercooked, I ask for salsa on the side and never get it, and the burger I ordered last week was cold(after waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru line) and the bun was soggy. Tonight I sent my husband to bring me a funnel cake, it’s BURNT! Hard as a rock. They just covered it in powdered sugar so it «looked» good. I don’t know if we will take our chances here again.

Lived in the area my whole life and only have been here a couple of times, I guess I have a short memory why. I asked for a medium hot fudge Sunday with extra hot fudge oh now I remember«THEYDON’T HAVECHOCOLATEICECREAM» so anyway extra hot fudge, I get my Sunday and she literally puts 2 teaspoons of hot fudge on my Sunday at the price of $ 3.69! Maybe 1 cup of ice cream(vanilla yuck) and some crappy whopping cream, I need to somehow make a mental note to not come here again!!! There need to be some soft serve chocolate ice cream shops around again!!!

Always been passing this burger joint over the years. Never went to check it out until last week. Didn’t know what to get so I just ordered thr Jalapeño burger. The burger is awesome and prepared when you order. The cones either by themselves or dipped is a great way to finish your meal. Definitely will come back. Great first experience.

I’ve been coming here a long time the food is pretty good… the shakes are delicious, the breakfast burritos are delicious, turkey clubs amazing, turkey sandwich horrible!!! They do have Slush Puppies which is amazing if you’re an 80s baby. prices are a little bit High the girls that work here are a little bit slow and a little bit rude but whatever nothing to really complain about… what has been frustrating me a lot lately is the drive thru has gotten really really slow, like really slow… like oh my gosh slow… The other day i ordered an ice cream n was in line approx 25mins n only had 2 cars ahead of me, had i not gotten out of the car n picked up my order in front; lord knows how long i would have been sitting there waiting. This seems to be the new norm for them… Not ok, iv got better things to do w my time

After about three months off because they can’t seem to get my order right I give them another chance and what do you think happens… I called in my order and sat there for 20 minutes while my order set in a paper bag before they realized it was mine… Got home and realized they charged me for a drink and never gave it to me. I called back to let them know about it and they immediately offered to give me the owner’s phone number. Must be the trophy generation way of dealing with problems

Ice cream is great, and portions are good although their brownie sundae has less brownie than ever. The food is ok, although I am a fan of their Jalapeño Jack Cheeseburger and Chili Fries. I came for the dollar dogs, and was disappointed. I hope they use better quality dogs for the regular hot dogs. Overall, if you know what’s good here it’s worth a visit.

The food is usually average in quality, better than fast food however. The best part is probably the convenience of the location in Granada Hills, next to residential areas. The staff is typically friendly and the drive through makes it quick and easy. I would say this is a good place for those looking for a decent quick bite.

Hamburgers are awesome!!! You have to go and try the balboa burger. Fries are good, but I have heard about the dessert and will be going back soon to try them

Food is nothing special here. They never seem to get my order correct and it’s very frustrating. It is so busy here that attention to detail is lacking tremendously. There is also no communication within the restaurant and its employees. If they’re out of an ingredient to make something you ordered, let the customer know!!! Instead they let you take it home and wonder why your burger has no tomatoes. That’s just bad business to me. Don’t sell me something you don’t have.

I tried to pay with my credit card for a shake and they told me I have to pay 5 dollars or more to use a card. Bad bad bad business. You don’t turn away a paying customer. I work in the area and buy shakes several times a year… I guess I won’t be buying at this place. Most people don’t carry cash these days… get with the program. UPDATE: the fees for card use, especially debit cards, are not that much. But don’t worry– DQ is more than happy to take my money.

Good selection of sinful items to eat. Have had their burgers, fries and desserts. Quick service in an old school type spot. They have funnel cake which brought us here first time. All around divey diner type spot, nothing amazing, nothing sub par. Late night spot.

Went to this place for dinner… and they forgot to include my burger. However when I called they told me to come back and immediately took care of it. They also included a yummy funnel cake! Thanks Maria for making it right. Great customer service and yummy eats!!! A must for burgers in the valley.

I’ve frequented Frosty Queen for the past 3 years living just down the street. Everything I’ve had is decent to good. Never disappointed, never blown away. Two years ago I would have given it 4 stars but ever since the new owners took over the prices have gone up while the service has gone down. Their breakfast burrito used to be a little over $ 5 after tax. Now it’s almost $ 7! Meanwhile, I don’t know if they reduced the number of cooks or something but it now takes FOREVER to get your food. If there is no one ahead of me I expect a 5 minute wait, which is not a huge deal considering it’s not a huge fast food place and I assume they make-to-order. But that time isn’t even multiplied by the number of cars. It’s like if they have more than one order going at once the whole system breaks down. With just one other customer ahead I’ve often waited over 20 minutes for food. They also seem totally incapable of remembering to exclude things from orders. I’ve ordered a Granada Burger without pickles here three times in the past year and each time there’s been pickles. All told– annoying but if I’m not in a rush it’s not a horrible experience.

Haven’t ate here in 20 years since high school Stopped by ordered a breakfast burrito Took two bites and threw it in the trash I’m pretty sure an entire stick of butter is not an ingredient in a breakfast burrito I ordered bacon and sausage was charged for extra meat. I couldn’t even find any bacon or sausage in my burrito. All hash browns(undercooked) and butter. So much butter it was dripping off the tortilla. Huge fail was disgusting Worst thing I have ate in decades I’m pretty sure a starving rat wouldn’t even eat it

Been here soooooo many times! Bottom line — any milk shake is delicious. Their hamburgers are charred to perfection and moist. Everything else is ok. I haven’t really had anything else that was borderline insane and amazing; except for the milkshake of course. Give it a try… but we wary of what you order. Milkshakes and burgers will always steer you right!

This review is only based on the breakfast burrito’s & banana chiller! Their breakfast burrito’s are one of the best that I’ve had! I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and it comes w/eggs, cheddar cheese, rice, hash browns & salsa(optional but highly recommend). The burrito is a good size to share with somebody else and is filling! Their banana chiller is delicious! It’s like a McDonalds McFlurry but with fresh bananas! Yes, the wait may take awhile but keep in mind that they make it when you order it unlike any other fast food joint that has the cooked meat in a compartment & is ready to grab & serve. Overall, I’m glad I returned here after almost 10yrs of not having it(wasn’t a fan of it before until the breakfast burrito was a life changer!). Planning to come back and try the desserts!

I’ve been here a few times but not for the food just the ice cream cones, ice cream malts and today the funnel cake. Their ice cream and malts are just outstanding, very very good. I remember drinking the whole thing and didn’t want to share with anyone else. :) It was that good! Anyhow today I drove through the drive thru and ordered the funnel cake with strawberries, I also asked for a small chocolate drizzle on top and they were glad to do it. It was 7.50 plus tax so total was $ 8.18 I believe. The funnel cake was greatttt! The only bad part was that the strawberries I don’t think they are actual fresh strawberries. I think it’s strawberries with syrup because it was super sweet and on top of that the whip crème. I could be wrong but I definitely feel the strawberries were out of a tub or can or something, they were not the typical fresh strawberries they were glazed with some type of syrup. All in all the service was good, fast, prices were reasonable, a little steep for a funnel cake but I enjoyed it and I definitely will be back!

One of the girls in their made my sundae with her bare hands… how ridiculous and mighty disgusting is that. I wanted to barf watching her make it with her germ infested hands. How do i know she washed her hands? and then the fact that after she made my ultimate sundae, she made my money transaction; all i know and have to assume is she was making money transactions all day and then made my sundae with her glovless hands. YUCK. Im going to have to look into this on food regulations in Los Angeles but i did post a picture of the evidence on here. –unsatisfied customer
