We are used to ordering from the Guido’s in Pacoima. And this particular place in Granada Hills does not compare. Pizza reminds me of the old drive in pizza cold, very thin and dry. Lady on the phone says that’s all that they make and they separated themselves from Guido’s and are now Guido. Thank goodness. This place really sucks. Salad is nothing but lettuce with a garnish of tomato and two sliced olives. No more from this place so not impressed.

Lady on the phone I placed order with was sweet but she gave me an incorrect total and my credit card was charged more than what she had said. The pizza got to us later than 45 mins as they had promised. We got a large BBQ chicken and half deluxe pizza and wings. BBQ pizza had barely any chicken on it… it literally had one small piece of chicken laid out per slice. The BBQ sauce tasted like Heinz BBQ sauce and the dough was chewy. The deluxe part of the pizza was over the top. It had SO many toppings which made the dough soggy. The chicken wings were not meaty at all and God only knows what kind of dipping sauce they included. It definitely was not ranch or blue cheese. I’m pretty disappointed because I just dropped $ 30+ and got shit pizza. You’re better off getting Dominos Pizza Hut, Papa Jon’s, Ameci’s or really anything… honestly frozen pizza would have hit the spot a lot more. I’m freaking pissed cuz I’m stuck with leftovers I won’t even eat. As hungry as we were 75% of the pizza and the wings are leftover and they’re about to get tossed. I tried feeding a piece of turkey topping and as as much as she likes human food, she wasn’t dying to snatch it up. I would say that this was by far one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had, and to everyone that gave them 2 stars or more, you apparently haven’t had good pizza. I gave Guido’s one star but really they deserve none. I dare you to try them and please if you think anything different, let me be the first to know.

Very friendly service and good food. We stopped here on a long drive from Northern CA to Southern to escape traffic and feed our family. Pizza, salad and an order of spaghetti with meatballs. They ran to the store to get us ice for our drinks — it seemed most business was take out — but made us very comfortable.

First time today at this Guido’s and I must say I was pretty disappointed! I got some soggy pizza and it was just falling apart! It just looked gross! Definitely not the business! Not ever buying pizza here!

No one makes pizza like the owners Marina and Johnny! Everything is fresh and homemade and they even offer menu items like pasta, salads and desserts. This is one of our favorite places for pizza even though it is out of our area, we love it more than any place close by to us. We highly recommend Guido’s!

We’ve ordered from this location many times, I just haven’t gotten around to write a review until now. We are never unhappy about what we get here. The man on the phone may not be the peppiest person taking orders, but it gets the job done. The deliveries are timely and the food is HOT when it gets to your door. They always have coupons in the mail, but if you don’t have any, just ask for the latest specials, and they’ll let you know.

I’ve only been to this location once but it was a pretty pleasant experience. My friend and I came in around 9 pm on a monday night and were immediately greeted. We ordered two calzones which were so good btw. The service was awesome. The cashier was super friendly and very attentive.

This is the poorest quality pizza I’ve had in a VERY long time. I specifically requested that the pizza be cooked«well done». What I received was a pizza with half the crust uncooked. There was plenty of raw dough in the middle and the bottom was a dark greasy brown color. I’d hate to try their usual«medium well» pizza. The cheese on the pizza came entirely off the crust when I separated the pieces. This pizza is unfit even for public school cafeterias. Sorry. We also ordered cheese ravioli with meat sauce and a large garden salad. The salad was basically a bags worth of iceberg lettuce with a TINY amount of olives, mozzarella, and two peperoncinis. I was really hoping for the usual thing that you can get at any Italian restaurant. You know… a nice densely packed salad with a lot of mozzarella in an aluminum tin? The ravioli seemed to be a small-ish serving and it was just OK. All this cost only $ 27! All the competitors in the area(Casa de Pizza, Vincenzo’s, Bad Boy’s Pizza, Big Mama’s and Papa’s and even usual nation chain pizza places) are superior to this place in every way.

When I was in high school, I used to go to this pizza place outside the school. Pies were $ 5, so all us broke kids were there on Fridays while we were planning how to try to talk to girls that weekend. Now, all these years later, I’ve found another pizza place that’s that same vibe, value, and great pizza, and it’s awesome! I picked up a large pizza and some sides for me and some buddies who had time to kill. I wasn’t expecting anything great for $ 20, but I was wrong! The pizza was great! It was far better than I expected, and well worth the money! Plus, the guy who worked at the front was super nice and friendly, and the pizza was ready to go in a second! And there’s nothing quite like engaging in a yelled-across-the-room conversation with the pizza guy as he’s making it: «Hey! You want a lot of pepperoni on this? Or just a little? A lot? You got it, boss!» I don’t live near this place, but it’s good enough that I’d go to it all the time if I did. It’s great. I love it. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA just so I could eat some more of this stuff!

Not 5-stars but I would give it a solid 3.5. But Unilocal does not offer 3.5, so, I’ll pick the latter. One night I was in Granada Hills and primary choice(House of Grill) was closed. I did not mind taking the pizza/pasta route, so, I went with their BBQ Chicken Pizza. Yes. I went the safe route, and, I’m glad I did. The medium pizza($ 12) was good(size, taste, portion, and value) for dinner. And, between my gf and I. Some leftovers were in order for some lunchies for tomorrow! They offered plenty of deals and coupons to make you come back to the Valley Italian gem.

I give this place 5 stars because of the whole package. The food is not amazingly good, but it is fu#@king good. The service is friendly and accommodating. They got my order wrong once and even though i picked it up the guy had his driver come over my house to give me the right order. That is freakin cool. The wings are awesome, the have a zesty taste that i never tasted anywhere else. Also coupons are everywhere for this chain. Exceeds expectations. Why anyone would choose dominoes, pizza hut, papa johns over this place is beyond me.

Oh Guido’s, Oh How I love! Old italian men that always address you as «My Darling», Super cheap coupon specials, and delicious piping hot thin crust pizza always delivered within 30 minutes to your door. They let you keep the coupons too — Here’s a tip — While I love Guidos, they are a bit sexist. You’ll definitely get a better deal if you’re a chick — my boyfriend and I have tested by ordering at different times. when the female orders, its always 4 dollars cheaper. Can’t confirm that that will be true for everyone, but gentlemen. make your gal order. or use a falsetto.
