Very good place. My Gf and I have been going here since they have first opened. The staff is friendly and really take the time to get to know you. I love it.

FRESH, FRESH, FRESH! My love was craving fish tacos. He suggested to go to a known local eatery and I said«If you are craving tacos, let’s go to a place that serves yummy tacos.» Of course he Unilocal it and Lola’s comes up. We both looked at each other and said let’s get dem tacos! Glad that we did cause Lola’s is a gem. If you check in, you get free chips. The flavors in the tacos were just delish. Unique flavors for sure. The fish was dipped in beer batter that had the perfect crunch. If you like fresh tuna you must try the ceviche cause it’s fresh, light, bursting with flavors and just delicious. Most of all, I love the ambiance. Reggae, island music flare going on. I’m from Oahu so it was a nice welcome. Friendly staff. Clean dining area. Looking forward to my next visit.

Everything was awesome. Guacamole and salsa with the pepper chips. Baja Sampler Special. Ceviche Sampler. Horchata. Get there early because the parking lot is tiny. Natalie the waitress, was knowledgeable about all the items on the menu and the specials.

So where shall I begin? I drove an hour to get to this place, thinking it was worth it since the Unilocal reviews are high and their ig account shows delicious food. To my surprise(and oh boy what a surprise) this was not what I expected. Let’s begin with their prices, ridiculously expensive. They charge you for everything, except the Napkins. The food was not at all as I expected, too sweet. Nevertheless I must admit the tacos were good but definitely not worth the drive and everything else that comes with it. Service was good, therefore I give it two stars, but wish it was 1 ½.

First of all great service! I got the ceviche sampler and was extremely full afterwards! I’ve never tried ceviche the way they make it. It was delicious I think one of them had mango which by the way was my favorite! The micheladas were great! Will definitely go back! Thank you for the great experience!

Everything tastes good here! I’m not a fan of chips & salsa but theirs is yummy! The service is good. The only downside is the parking lot is small. But don’t let that stop you from eating yummy mexican seafood!

Baja style fish tacos were super delicious!!! What an awesome hole in the wall restaurant! Best tacos in town! Even the chips and salsa are well done! The nachos were covered in a lemon pepper flavoring that mixed really well with the home made salsa!

I can for the first timeout Friday, I ordered the Tuna Mango Habanero Ceviche; my taste buds feel in love with this dish. So much so I returned today Sunday. I’ve also had the the spicy tuna crunch taco which was excellent. My husband had the baja tacos and enjoys those. Great service, friendly, relaxed even when the restaurant is full. I will be coming back many more times.

Small place but their menu is everything. I ate the Ceviche sampler, being the I am a huge ceviche lover this was the perfect combination for me. The sampler has five different kinds(traditional shrimp, scallops, fish, chicken, and tropical). My favorites were the Tropical Shrimp and of course the Traditional. My choice of dessert was the Nutella Cheese Cake and it was amazing! I am definitely going back to try more items on their menu! love, –Karen

My husband and I tried Lola’s tonight for the first time. It was amazing! I had the Baja fish tacos and my husband had a Baja fish taco and a steak taco both were great. Guacamole was really good and fresh. The bread pudding was so delicious! Our waitress, Sonia, was super sweet and excellent customer service. We will definitely be back soon!

I wish there was a 3.5 stars. I went in to pick up some food for the family to-go. Ordered a bunch of tacos as well as scallop ceviche. The tacos were good and the sauces they use on them are great. The ceviche(the guy making it was showing another guy how to do it) which was supposed to be mild was very spicy. He also put WAY too much cumin(he seemed to accidentally put on too much straight from the bottle). I got home and my mouth was on fire after the first bite(I can handle heat and love jalapenos on things — but this was SPICY!). I couldn’t take another bite and the cumin was overpowering every other flavor. The vibe of this place is cute, but I’d never order ceviche again.

I have been a frequent customer at Lola’s Baja Tacos and it seems they might have a new owner. We always come here for the ceviche and the last couple times we had our order wrong but my complain is they raised the prices a while a go but now it seems the portions are a lot smaller, they used to give you the whole avocado with ceviche and now you only get half of it, and the put more tomatoes and cucumbers and less fish or shrimp, also the last couple times the chips were over cooked. I’m very disappointed because I love this place but lately they are not very consistent in their plates. You come here and expected to get the same every time and one time you get more and another time less. My husband and I drive far only to come to this place and to see the quality is going down make me think twice to come again. Please Lola’s don’t disappoint me anymore, I love your food and service :)

sweet gem located in Granada Hills. Great customer service, with a friendly staff. You can pretty much find any variety of fish tacos… from grilled to fried. I tried their Baja platter which included lobster, shrimp and fish tacos. I would definitly revisit this location.

My coworkers love this place. I have always tried avoiding Lola’s because of their prices, tacos range from $ 4-$ 10, but my coworkers wanted to grab dinner after work. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. We started off with a few appetizers to share. Guacamole was very lemony and good. Nachos were ok, you get a really big portion but meat was dry. I also had the fried fish taco as well as the grilled fish taco. Both had really good flavor but the grilled fish was a bit dry. Service was good, but i do wish that they had their market prices posted up. To my surprise my grilled fish taco was $ 8.

Nice place for fish and shrimp tacos. One thing I really liked about Lola’s was it wasn’t packed with humanity. We were actually able to sit right down and enjoy lunch. I almost gave up last weekend when we went to Café Mexico and La Fogata only to find standing room only in both restaurants. This places serves up some pretty authentic Baja fish and shrimp tacos. My only complaints would be the tortilla was a little hard on both of my tacos. No rice and beans either. One of the specials was a Chilean Sea Bass taco. It was good quality. There is a bit of a price to pay for such quality. I had no real issue with the price point but I can see that others might not agree. The waitresses were really nice and took care of us. This place is a bit of a hike from Reseda so maybe we will hit them up again in a few months. Unilocal check in gets you free chips and salsa. They also play cool reggae music mon!

This is a really really delicious hidden gem in the San Fernando valley, we were craving seafood and found it on Unilocal, the lady that helped us was a real sweetheart, she was super super friendly, she took her time to describe each of the dishes to us and recommended some items for us, we got 2 aquas frescas, one watermelon and one pineapple, they were delicious, and then we ordered the Ceviche sampler which has 5 different flavored ceviches, they were absolutely delicious. We also got the Lola’s sampler, which comes with a half of a quesadilla, 3 baja shrimp(which are battered shrimp), guacamole, salsa and chips, it was super super yummy, oh and we also got their featured fish taco which is grouper tacos, this place gets a 5 star rating from us, amazing service and amazing food. There is one thing I really noticed, we ordered the food and it took about 15 minutes for the food to come out, which was fine to us, because I saw them preparing our food, and I know the food we are getting is 100 percent fresh made, because if food comes out usually within 5 minutes at a food place then that would tell me that it’s not fresh usually. 5 stars to Lola’s! :)

This wasn’t our first option for today but because other places were closed or super packed this became our second option. I am soooo glad we decided to come here because this place is AMAZING! When we first arrived there was nobody in the restaurant and we were greeted by a really nice and friendly lady(one of the owners). She explained that this place is usually packed and we are lucky because it’s not crazy like it normally gets. She explains everything to us and we decide to order. My fiancé went with a Baja fish taco and a chicken taco. I went with the Ahi ceviche with mango habanero and a lobster taco. All I have to say is, if you’ve never been here or heard of this place, BOOKMARK it right now! This place is a hidden gem and the chef Eric has discovered something not too many people have. How to make excellent fresh food that is extremely tasty. I don’t know how and why everything was so soft and tender. My fiancé and I were trying to figure out why the chicken was so soft and cooked to perfection. The sauces blended perfectly with the fish, lobster and chicken and each one gave you a different experience in each bite. I’m not a huge fan of spicy food so I wasn’t sure if I wanted the habanero or the jalapeño in my ceviche. Eric explained the differences between all the chilies and made the decision to give me a side of habanero along with a tiny bite in the ceviche. I thought that was cool because my fiancé loves spicy food and she was able to add more to her portion of the ceviche. The mild had a pretty good kick for me so if you don’t like your food spicy roll with the mild and you’ll still feel something. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Baja style tacos and we will be back probably this week or weekend lol. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros
