This place I’ve been coming here for so many years since I was about maybe in my teens. Me, and my family use to come here. Most of the time I use to come with my dad. I always order the Red Burrito or Large Nachos which is my favorite. It never disappoints. My dad always use to order his tacos all the time. Every time we went to a Mexican restaurant he’d order a taco a la carte with cheese. They have very good tacos. I approve of this place it’s a good family environment. My favorite thing about this spot is they have an Aztec warrior holding a woman in his arms on a picture. It’s a bit warming in here.

Good food. The items to highlight are the salads, and dinners. Reasonably priced and delicious. The tostada flat is a favorite salad and you can go wrong with either the carnitas or fajitas dinner. Make sure you use the salsa/red sauce they have, it’s got the right amount of spiciness and complements the menu well. Giving all the great reviews I would give this place a shot. Who knows you may find a new favorite spot to indulge your tastebuds. Bring cash. Cash only.

Been passing by this place for years, and finally decided to go. It is Mexican food, but more American version, not authentic, with things like Chimichungas(Which is exactly what a I wanted). The chimigunca was sloppy and slathered in hot sauce(not hot) guacamole and sour cream, and hit the spot. The shredded beef hard tacos were delicious too. Kind of reminds me of Tito’s, but maybe a little better. Cheap and tasty, great for a quick fix.

Nachos were just OK… Kinda expensive. Cost 10.23 for one carne asada nachos. They didn’t put that much meat.

I’ve lived in GH for 12 years and this was one of only two local Mexican spots, so naturally I’ve been here a lot. But honestly the food is terrible. Greasy, over priced and watered down with tasteless rice and beans. You feel sick and terrible after eating here and after 12 years the food isn’t getting any better. It maybe a local staple but the sheer lack of quality makes this place forgettable at best. If you want good Mexican food you need to venture into Van Nuys or San Fernando. Or check out the Chipotle down tbe street. Often times in the media Mexican food is regarded as unhealthy and gross, but that’s not really the case but it’s places like this that perpetuate this stereotype. Avoid coming here and give your bowels a break.

This place just sucks! Nothing special, over priced. 15.00 for a taco, burrito and Coke. Burrito smothered in enchilada sauce, and the cheapest plastic knifes and forks to try to eat eat it with. Knocked won’t cut the tortilla and the fork bends when you try to pick something up. And empty parking lot should have been a clue. I guess a good way to get customers not to dislike the food, it to make it almost impossible to eat it. And for those prices, they can probably afford some better plastic wear. Save your money, dell taco would have been a better choice.

I’ve been coming here for 35 years, always tasty, always filling, always love it. Their salsa is addicting, I pour it on everything. I’ve never tried the hamburgers, but I’m sure they can’t be bad. They have a really spacious patio for eating on a nice day. No ground beef tacos, but the shredded beef is delicious. Carnitas on the Nachos is the way to go for sure, ½ order is enough for a normal eater. The large is for sharing. The place is always super clean and the staff is friendly and polite.

We have nachos about twice a month and thank heavens we found them! The only taco that comes close to Tito’s Tacos in Venice, maybe better… Its cash only which can be a bit inconvenient. Salsa is amazing too!

Since I was a child I would always come here and order the same thing. The nachos and the cheese enchilada(a la carte) I now get the soft beef taco and the shredded beef is now my favorite.

Carne asada nachos are a solid choice here. Even the chicken tacos are good. Just make sure you have cash or you’ll have to hit the ATM that’s inside.

Second time coming here. Nachos is amazing– very authentic, very delicious Mexican food for a very reasonable price! And their horchata is 10⁄10! Salsa and chips also perfect. I like that they don’t usually add rice to their burritos… that’s just a filler! And the flavor is amazing. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s not exactly the kind of place you’d take your date to, ahahaha. Has a bit of a «greasy spoon» feel… but the tables are clean and the environment is nice. They have some decorations & paintings up on the wall too. Cash only, but they have an ATM inside.

This place is amazing. I have been going here since I was a kid and still 25 years later I’m still a loyal customer. I have been driving 35 miles just to have their burritos, now I take my daughter here and hope one day she can take her kids her Love this place

I had the Carne Asada burrito, chips & drink. Pros: Clean place with friendly staff. The burritos flavor was good, not salty like others and the salsa was yummy! Cons: For a 6.99 burrito, it was small and the meat was cut too thin. Did not come with chips, I had to pay an extra 1.41 for chips. 2.49 for a large drink Although the flavor and service was good, I will probably not be back. With tax, my meal was over $ 12.00, not worth the price!

Heard about this place for years, and today was the day to give it a try. Here are my opinions strictly based on my experience: First, the prices are not that cheap as compared to neighboring similar ethnic style restraunts. Also, everything costs extra. For example $ 1.25 for a small extra of sour cream. Secondly, it’s cash only but they got their own ATM machine of course for a fee. And lastly, the food. The enchiladas are good. The burrito supreme is no big deal.

Unfortunately, there are now 6 Mexican restaurants to choose from on Balboa/Devonshire. NACHOS is the BEST!!! The place simply called«Mexican Food» next to Denny’s is a close second, and El Queso Grande is good if you want to go to a sit-down place and have a drink. How dare Caca Fresh and Shitpotle try to take their business! Cash only, but they have an ATM.

Three of my favorite things I always get here that I suggest: — Big, crunchy, beef with red sauce taco — Big, crunchy, carnitas taco — Tub of their house salsa (maybe some chips to dip into the salsa if the taco shell isn’t enough)

My brother has always been raving about this place, and I’m surprised that since I used to live in the area, I have never made a stop at Nacho’s. First things first, this is a CASHONLY place. They do have an ATM inside, so no reason to run to the bank if you only have plastic. A small little place, where everything is homemade. The first thing my brother did was buy a giant cup of salsa. Yes, they sell their salsa. I tried it, and it wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I would buy it like that. Its a nice mild salsa, and my brother was drinking it straight from the little salsa cups. So you decide. I ordered the Burrito Supremo. I didn’t realize it was a wet burrito until I was given my food. A good sized burrito, with enchilada sauce covering it. Guacamole and sour cream at one corner of the container. A small salad at the other corner. My burrito had shredded beef, and it was pretty amazing. My perfect bite would be a forkful of burrito, guac and sour cream, plus a little salad. My brother got an order of taquitos. Crispy and crunch, with the same shredded beef. Pretty pretty good. The service was good and very fast. The food was pretty amazing. Not my number one place in the area for Mexican food, but if you want something quick, and cheap while staying authentic. Come here.

I was getting my car serviced nearby and dropped in for lunch. It has been yeeeeaaars since I’ve been here, so it was like coming for the first time. The service is friendly, and the food is good. I ordered the Burrito Supremo, and wasn’t disappointed. The burrito was large and the shredded chicken inside, plentiful. Other Unilocalers reviewed how great the beans were, and I’ll have to agree with them! The burrito has just the right amount of everything on it, so I was full when done, but not overloaded. My only criticism is that the burrito should have come with a small side of chips to go with the left-over red sauce which smothered my burrito. Lastly, the utensils are small and rather flimsy plastic, so cutting into my big burrito was challenging to say the least. I recommend some cheap metal silverware. All in all, a great value for quick authentic Mexican food. I don’t know why I haven’t been back here sooner.
