Bad customer service. Juliana attend me and has a really bad attitude. Doesnt represent the public storage. They corporation should hired people who r willing to help their clients without giving them attitudes or making bad faces.

The people here really helped me with exactly what I needed. My property is absolutely stored!

First I’d like to say that coming here for some boxes and other simple storage needs was just fantastic. Customer service was over the top, I was not expecting the kind of help I received that day. I don’t remember who helped me out but I assure you it went great! Stop by and let them help you out with all your storage needs!

Public storage was a great solution for us as we were working on moving. Hector was there for our initial check in and happened to be there on our check out. He answered all our questions and was very helpful. The security at the facility left me feeling safe about my belongings. I would definitely use this facility again!

Just concluded a 6-​year rental with this Public Storage location. I really have never had any issues. Facilities always felt safe and clean and upon my move out date, Hector and William went above and beyond to be helpful and provide great customer service. Didn’t expect that I would be using this storage for so long, but they made it easy.

Hector, the property manager who took care of me was as good as it gets.

Hector did a fabulous job taking care of us, getting us the right storage unit for what we needed, gave suggestions and was patient while he showed us the unit. Despite technical difficulties (the printer stopped working) he performed spectacularly and professionally. Come to find out, he was not only a Star Wars fan, but he’s a Green Bay Packers fan to boot. Great kid, great service.

I stopped by the Granada Hills Public Storage location to visit my storage location and get a mattress bag. I was helped by Christy and Hector who were both professional and friendly. Hector looked up the dimensions to my mattress to ensure a proper fit with the mattress bag. Christy gave me several helpful suggestions to help with my move.
I was very impressed with my experience at the public storage office and it helped me decide to renew my rental agreement this year. I believe Hector has the potential for management and Christy should definitely be promoted to the next management level. These two are that good!!!

Poor poor poor service… beware of these scam artists… they have hidden fees to jam you with… n you dont even know it…

Horrible customer service and bait and switch. I reserved a large storage unit starting on one particular date. I was told by a female rep from this public storage that as long as there were 7 days between PS rentals, I would still be eligible for the $ 1 discount. 2 days before the start of the rental, I get an email confirming a reservation starting 1 day before the date I reserved and that I would be paying full price. I called on a Friday and a young female answered. I informed her of the problematic confirmation email. She didn’t explain why the reservation date was changed by PS and she said that I only get 1 $ 1 off deal because it’s not for previous PS customers.
If it had not been for the shady email and info, I would have probably just gone through with this reservation. Instead I contacted another storage company and they were up front with me about their pricing and they had climate control. Unfortunately the day I showed up, despite it being business hours, the employee had stepped out for an hour and I didn’t want to wait that long.
So in desperation, I looked up other PS facilities in this area that had climate control. This facility did not have climate control and I didn’t want my personal belongings melting in this hot SF Valley weather.
The PS on Shirley did have climate control and the ladies there were very nice. The lady told me that as long as there were 7 days between rentals at a PS, I qualified for the $ 1 rent for a month discount. So I signed up with the PS on Shirley. The unit was a bit smaller than the 10×20 unit I wanted here but the one on Shirley is climate controlled and those ladies didn’t bait and switch me. I got the discount and now have a unit that I really like at the PS on Shirley.
Maybe I should give the girl I called the benefit of the doubt but the shady email and the misinformation was a horrible turnoff. She was also do adamant that the $ 1 rent for a month was a one time thing for the lifetime of a PS customer.

I chose to store my car for a month with Public Storage upon seeing their $ 1 for your first month ad. Elizabeth was very helpful in explaining the policy and payments (I am storing a bit longer than a month), showing me my space, and explaining the entrance code etc. She has even been in touch with me via my google voice number (as requested) as I’ve traveled regarding tying up loose ends. The experience was very smooth, and I imagine it will continue to be so as I return from my travels. Thank you!

I told myself I’d make a Unilocal review as soon as I got home. I’d recommend this Public Storage to anyone living at the CSUN Dorms and needs to store their things for the summer. It’s about a mile away from Zelzah Avenue.
So what can I say about Chatsworth Avenue’s Public Storage? I absolutely love this Public Storage. Karen was super helpful and walked me through every step of the way from setting up my account, to purchasing a lock, up until assisting with inputting my code at the gate. She even gave me a tour of my storage to make sure it was the right size for my belongings. She also taught me how to use the lock for my storage door.
Although this storage is not air conditioned /​room temperature, I love it. It’s a nice distance away from CSUN campus for those students who do not have a place to store their belongings after move out day at the dorms. I also love this storage because they provide a few push carts, trolleys, and a golf cart to transport your items to the several buildings on the site. Great customer service!

What’s to say about Public Storage. It’s a great place for people to keep their junk! This location’s gate hours are from 6am — 9pm.
