The old bald cashier , his name is Rob, avoid his cocky mouth, his rudeness and he will overcharge u. Everything, he has difficulty with counting back refunds after he overchatges.he cannot calculate or reason the correct amount, this is not cashier quality.i don't know why he cannot add, he does not apply common sense.i am calling corporate on Rob and his manager that supported his loudness and hers also.

The bald cashier Rob, overcharged me, when I went to the cashier stand and stood at the end,he yelled at me to stand in the line.i had my basket I need to hold onto as I shop. very loudly and rudely told me 5 times to stand in front of others as allowing no space or 6 foot distance. When I told the manager, short dyed her hair lighter , chubby rude manager did not assist me.she yelled at me to go stand in the crowd if I wanted my money back.she yelled at me 5 times too.what a circus, Rob threw the 3 dollars at me , short chubby rude manager told me never to come into the store.they treated me like I was a degenerate stupid person.bad people, avoid Rob, bald older guy, at all times. Also the produce guy got bumped up to checker and he is also following their trend of rudeness and bags items so they r purposely damaged. Especially the produce.

Why does Ralphs pay people who obviously do not want to work for them?
I wanted some speciality cheese and found most of the cheeses were not priced. I choice 2 along with a lot of other items. When I went to cash out, I asked the cashier how much the 2 cheeses were as nothing is priced, Lucretia L. Responded with «ralphs card“‘she then checked the price and asked me if I wanted them, I told her yes but they really should be priced. No response.
I would complain to a manager but her tag said sales manager, why it didn’t also say «I hate my job and wish everyone would die» is a surprise to me.

I was a customer but not any more, because of the un educational assistent manager who works in the morning usually the manger will fix their workers mistake to make the customer leave happy but this time the low class assistant manger had no experience in customer service.
I was at Ralphs portel ranch and they didn’t have what i want i ask the guy to check this Ralph and i wish i didn’t, because they did said yes that they can give it to me (they have order and they have extra’s) so in 5 min i was their i ask the worker where can i find my order he said go to the manger and here the story begin. the assistant manger said their is a limit and they can’t give it to me i said i just called the manger said no you didn’t, at that time I didn’t say an thing but i told him to call the guy and he did and after he start talking and talking with out ending the time was 7:45 in 15 min i have work so I told him sorry I have 15 min are you going to give it or not he said if you can’t lesson to what i want to say I don’t want your business. «really» who are you low class person you are nothing an un educational person go back to school and go learn more how to be a manger i feel bad that the person who chose you to be their is so wrong you should be not in customer serves never going to let this be going in easy way and I will call your supervisor.

What just happened here!!? The Raplhs guy (50’s, bald… imagine that) at the checkstand just got into an argument with me about how many lines I’ve been in when I said «My fourth line…) 1. the self checkout that wouldn’t recognize my phone number I haven’t changed in 14 years, 2. I was in a line with a light on, but apparently it was closed, 3. I was in an open line, but Ralphs guy (50’s, bald) said «I’m open» NUMBER FOUR!!! God, why do I have to even get in an argument with a Ralphs checkout guy in the first place when I’m just trying to get a quick dinner, next time I’ll just drive to Target if this is how they treat local Granada Hills customers. Then he asks me for my Raphs card (which I told him is the reason I didn’t just use the self check out!!!) And he gives me guff about THEIR machine not recognizing my number, funny Rite Aid and CVS have no problems… THEN HE TRIES TO INSULT ME BY LOOKING AT THE CUSTOMERS BEHIND ME, over dramatically, and says, «Well, I guess I can scan mine to get you your little discount. My little discount?! I wouldn’t even buy stuff unless its on sale. LONG STORY SHORT… OR LONG, Minimum wage workers are spiteful, undeserving and pretty much worthless. Should I really expect good service from a 50 year old man working a teenage kids job??? Guess what now Ralphs guy… I’m back in my BIG house with a BIG pool and multiple cars… because I don’t suck AT MY JOB!

I drive a few miles extra to go here instead of Vons. As long as you go later in the evening, there’s not many people and they do an excellent job at keeping the lines short. The employees are pretty friendly. They have a great selection. Prices are usually pretty good with the rewards card although sometimes the produce is cheaper at Sprouts across the street.

Generally a clean store with friendly workers. Closest Ralphs to CSUN i believe. I do suggest that you avoid coming during the weekday at around 3pm to avoid highschoolers crowding the store.

This review is for the Starbucks inside. Daisy from the Starbucks counter makes great coffee!
And her customer service skills are just awesome. She remembers you and when she seeing you coming starts working on your drink asap! That level of service is just hard to find and I had to give a review. Thanks Daisy!

I’ve been coming to this Ralphs exclusively for the last two years because I love so many things about it: the staff friendliness, store cleanliness, and overall good deals. The employees from the meat department, Guillermo, Emmanuel and Archie are simply the best, they are always friendly and helpful and always go the extra mile to help me out! I really appreciate their genuine care and dedication towards their customers. Definitely recommend this Ralphs.

I live in the area and this is my local store. I would come here often until about 3 – 4 months ago when I noticed that I was being over charged. One time the cashier let the person in front of me walk out and attempted to charge me for her purchases. After I told her 3 times that she was over charging me she corrected my purchase but never apologized and tried to brush it off as if were no biggie. Her manager came over to ask what was going on and her brushed him off also. 2 weeks later I went to purchase a few breakfast items and the cashier insulted me I then went to complain to the manager who was the same person as the 2 weeks prior. He listened and that about it. Never did he apologize or offer any thing to show me that I was a «valued» customer.
I am happy to say I have not gone back I rather drive to the vons on SF mission and Balboa. They rock

One of my favorite groceries store in this area, they have everything I need and great service. It’s also very close to my house and hey offer a great rewards program that I’ve used for gas discounts and discounts at the store as well.

I went to this Ralph’s bakery looking for a red velvet cake. I didn’t want to spend $ 35 – 40 at one of the regular bakeries. I tried out a red velvet cupcake first and it was delicious, esp the frosting. We are big frosting lovers, and I asked the decorator, Tuyet, if she could make a ¼ sheet red velvet with extra frosting and she did. It was a huge hit, lots of yummy cream cheese frosting, and made my daughter, the birthday girl quite happy. And a great price besides-​$ 22.00.

If you need groceries and this is the only place then its fine. Now the costumer service is not horrible but it is not great. They are polite but extremely slow. The store itself is gross and always smells. The parking lot is not fun, people driving like they own the road. So ridiculous. If you just drive another 10 minutes you can go to Porter Ranch where the service is better and the store is much nicer.

Great for groceries in a pinch. The staff is usually friendly. Only wish they had more organic options

Checker named self checkout number sign 1 was not pleasant. Checker was robotic at times and maintained no eye contact or physical knowledge of existence. A simple hi went no where. When a supervisor was requested, no response besides place item in bagging area. Please submit a formal review for this checker. Thank you, a frequent customer.

It is very big and confusing. I guess if you constantly shop here, you get used to it. A little convoluted. Great selection in each department. Comparable prices, and one stop shopping. Now for the cons. It’s next to a ginormous high school. DO NOT even attempt before or after school. The cashiers are rude, and unaware that if you have ANY type of alcohol in your cart, you cannot use the self check out.

I am reviewing the Starbucks inside of Ralph’s because they don’t have their own Unilocal page. The workers aren’t Starbucks trained, rather they are already existing Ralph workers.
The new Starbucks addition to the store seemed like a good idea until I ordered my first drink. The worker didn’t understand when I ordered a mocha frap. At this point I just wanted to leave so I changed my order to something I normally get — ½ iced black tea & ½ iced coffee and she charged me for both drinks with the total exceeding 6 dollars. I ordered this concoction at multiple Starbucks location but she said I don’t know how they operate.
I understand they are new but this is just ridiculous.

They seriously have a huge selection on all types of food items, they store is huge and can get a little overwhelming. I really like the deli, bakery section, I don’t really come to this store often as it’s usually packed with teen everytime I come since it’s right next to the high school. Don’t even dare coming around 245−3pm when school is out, you got a bunch of stupid kids smoking and loitering around their store. Wish they would do a better job on getting these idiots out of their way.
Anyhow all in all this Ralphs is good, I’m bummed that they don’t carry a specific brand of cheese I like but overall it’s nice to just wander around and check out their bakery items and deli.

It’s a grocery store! Yup. This have to be the most basic review ever, because there is nothing special about this store. Basic selection, basic employees. Oh I know, there used to be a 2^nd Ralph’s across the street! That was weird…

One of the worst Ralph’s locations ever! Right by my old high school, you are bound to run into someone. Don’t think about rolling out of bed and coming here. To top it off, the parking situation is out of hand. Teens who barely got licensed driving around. Hellz no! The Ralph’s itself is usually well stocked. Be prepared for slow lines. Also, it is very rare to see manager specials here. When they do have it the items are smashed up and open! I’d much rather go to the Ralph’s in Porter Ranch, the deals and service there is much better!

So slow and confusing.
They now send people in droves to self-​checkout. I’m sorry, are cashiers no longer a viable option for checking out? There can literally be one other person in line and they’ll ask you to move on over to self-​checkout. The self-​checkout (registers?) are slow and often times they are unresponsive. If you mistype anything, or enter an incorrect phone number it takes 300 years for someone to notice that «you need assistance». Twice the register on the right has not given me change. The bakery and deli are REALLY slow.

This Ralphs has everything that you need, including all of the major service areas (deli, meat section, produce, alcohol, etc.) and also has a coffee shop and Wells Fargo banking area inside.
The store is always clean, the shelves are most always stocked full of food and I’ve rarely had a problem finding what I need. The store seems to be well managed and run by a friendly staff. It is definitely my preferred grocery store in the area!
