A very historic place with a lot of history in it. You will be surprised at the amount of history that you will find in this town. The staff is very friendly and they will be more than happy to answer your questions. If you are coming to this town, you definitely have to check this place out, even if it is for just one night. If you are skeptical because of other reviews, well, let me tell you that people are allowed their opinion, but that opinion isn’t alway accurate, that is why I suggest that you come here and formulate your own opinion.

GREAT Bed and breakfast. Nice location, nice rooms and big bathrooms. They had a nice breakfast in the mornings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was perfect for us. It was a nice romantic weekend away. The bath tub is perfect for two as well. We will be back. Great price as well.

Gone downhill.
This was a nice getaway a couple years ago. Now it’s poorly kept, dusty, and they don’t do housekeeping every day.
It’s still a good hotel if you’re into ghosts, but not if you’re into comfort.

Some friends are I went to the Nutt for the sole purpose of conducting a paranormal investigation. Staff were friendly and accomodating, and ready to share their stories of activity. The rooms (we had 2) were clean and comfortable, and the lobby on the second floor was a great place for us to strategize. Parking was next door at an attorney’s office but is so close that it isn’t an imposition.
