This is one of the most pleasantly surprising places to eat on Granbury Much like a French Café you can get great items such as Chicken Salad on a croissant, grilled Han and apple panini. I had a grilled Brie with dried cherries sandwich Truly amazing In addition they serve beer and wine! On Fridays and Saturdays they are open till 11! There are fabulous baked goods such as cup cakes cake balls pies and more Don’t miss this

Place is GREAT. Their Sunday brunch is phenomenal Try the sirloin and eggs benedict. The chef could tell we were fans, and brought out their signature cheese and hatch chile pulled pork over grits… OHMYWORD. So. Good. Try this place!

I ate at the Bake Shop a couple of years ago when it first opened at it’s now«café» location. Although, I was not impressed with the quality of the desserts, the service from the owner was very hospitable and I could tell that he was very passionate about customer satisfaction and presentation. That said, I bragged the place up to my friend yesterday and talked her into having dessert and coffee with me at the Pearl St. bakery location. First off, the two women working were very snotty and just plain rude. We felt like we were imposing on them. I ordered coffee and a red velvet cupcake and chocolate chip cookie. My friend ordered the coconut cream pie. My cupcake was very dry and flavorless(besides the mound of hard, dried out icing on top) and my cookie was stale! My friend’s pie tasted like one of those frozen boxed pies but with freezer burn. I have had MUCH better from the local grocery store bakery for half the price and minus the catty attitudes from the employees. To say the least, we ate a couple of bites and left. Not a «thank you, come again» was uttered. We walked over to Christina’s around the corner where we were treated like, not only paying patrons, but with respect. I won’t be going back to the Bake Shop ever again.

Desert selection was small, and the cookies were stale. There was a «special of the week» coffee posted on the counter, but they didn’t have the ingredients to make it. I had a cup of coffee, and it was disappointingly weak and cold.

Tasty quiches and other baked goods. Stopped in for a snack and a coffee. Had some quiche, a piece of cake, and a coffee. Everything was tasty and the seating area cozy. Defintly a good stop if you are craving a treat and/or a warm bevergae.
