Country Ace Hardware & Lumber

By far one of the best Ace Hardware shops I’ve ever been to, offering lots of great stuff without feeling cluttered or chaotic! Excellent selection of nice, well-​made toys, unique gift ideas, beautiful cards, housewares, gardening supplies, and –of course– hardware items and fresh popcorn. A great find!

Folks at this Ace are so friendly and really came through for me! Attention Store Manager… your team rocks! KUDOS to them. I was in the middle of a project and could not find the drill bit… ran up to this Ace just after 4pm on Sunday and the door was locked. Yikes! They close at 4pm on Sundays. Im terrible with names BUT the nice gentleman in the parking lot let me in, a gal on the floor walked with me to find everything thing I needed quickly and the lady at the front waited to ring me up before she closed out her drawer. ALL with a smile on their faces like they really were happy to help. Great service is so rare these days… but not at ACE! Thank you.

First of all you should know that this place used to be at 318 E Agate. But they’ve moved, so don’t be confused ’cause most of the info sources have the wrong/​old address. Now they’re in the former remodeled Lever Bros food store on the west side of town.
(Most) women just don’t get it, but there’s nothin’ like a good hardware store. Even if I don’t particularly need anything, I always have a fine time walking through one, and this one’s got some prime pickins. Plus, get this: Free Popcorn – all the time. I said, all the time. Who could want anything more?
Anyway, a while ago I didn’t think I needed anything but went in to the newly moved Country Ace and what did I find I couldn’t live without. .. a Weber Genesis Grill at a price lower than they were offered in Denver. What could be better? A guy buyin’ a grill at a hardware store.
Yesterday, during breakfast, a chipmonk started squawking INSIDE the house. Turned out it got in through a hole something had burrowed in the facia. Went to the trusty Ace and came away with the perfect expando-​foam-​megamaxo-​filler-​insulation-​thingamaji­g. .. called «Great Stuff.» Worked like a charm. Now the zoo’s outside, where God meant it to be.
Good people. Nice prices. Free popcorn. ‘Nof said.
