Sam’s Super Burger

Sam’s Super Burger is a favorite for me and my family! Everything has always been great!

My Wife and I found this place by accident! Awesome hamburgers to say the least! We moved to Mobile from Fairhope and grew up eating Bens BBQ’S burgers. Which in my opinion is the best in mobile and Baldwin county. SAMS BURGERS ARE PRETTY CLOSE! They are hands down the best in Mobile to me, even the more expensive less casual places! We drive 20 min to Sams when craving a hamburger. Worth the drive for a good homemade burger. We haven’t tried anything else but from the looks of other plates looks great! I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews but noticed they didn’t have many and should! Give them a try!

Great burgers, fries and chocolate shakes. A small shake is plenty for two adults to share!

They are now closed on Sunday’s, but they have the best «fast» food ever! The food doesn’t come out as fast as a normal fast food restaurant but I would consider this place more of a diner. I get the fresh never frozen chicken tenders with their home-​made buttermilk ranch dipping sauce. As a kid, I liked to get chili cheese dogs from here which are still good, I just sort of grew out of it. I’m not a big fan of milk-​shakes but during Christmas time they have egg-​nog shakes and they are to die for

Sam’s burger with chili cheese fries. Very good burgeer. Patty is a little on the dry side but a single patty is almost ½ inch thick. Love it tho. Has a home taste to it. I live near the stateline and this is the first time trying it. I heard good reviews and the locals eat there al the time. Cost for a meal is about $ 7 – 12. Depends on what you get.

Found this place on Unilocal.Great food! Setup like fast food restaurant and has a drive thru. Food cooked fresh so had to wait a few. Food was awesome! Had onion rings — excellent flavor! Chili cheeseburger — awesome burger! They also have ice cream but was too full. Def will be back!

Every time I visit my family in Mobile, AL, I pass up Sam’s Super Burger, as it is on my route. Without fail, we always stop on our way home to get a chocolate malt through the drive thru, as there’s nothing like a cold malt on a hot summer/​spring day. Besides, the store is located right of I-​10 at the Grand Bay exit so there’s no reason NOT to stop here. Besides, who doesn’t love ice cream?
Unfortunately, all I can really talk about is the chocolate malts, as I have never tried a burger or fries here. The good news is that the malts are delicious. They put just enough malt powder that you get that throat «burn» from all the malt powder. I hope y’all know what I’m talking about and don’t sound like some kind of freak. Let’s just say that I like a lot of malt powder in my malts.
Now, imagine my displeasure this past Sunday as I pulled in the drive thru and saw the sign stating that their ice cream machine was broken.
No malt for me! :-(
However, my past «malt only» experiences here were always good. Hence the 3 star rating.
Next trip, I’m trying a burger and will update this review.

Good burgers about the same as Hardee’s. The French fries aren’t as good in my opinion but still pretty decent. Ice cream is also pretty good and hits the spot on those summer evenings
