Waddles and Toddles

I went back to this store for the second time a few days ago. The first time I was there I felt very uncomfortable because not one employee acknowledged my presence even though they were talking among themselves. I have worked at salons for 32 years and know the importance of greeting customers and making them feel welcome.
The second visit was even worse. Not only was I ignored once again, but as I was looking at a rack of infant sleepers an employee walked in front of me and muttered «Oh, I do have size larges» to herself. She then proceeded to reach in front of me (at the exact sleepers I was looking at) and scooped up about a dozen of them from the hanging rack and walked away with them! I have never witnessed anything so rude… and I grew up just outside Detroit! I looked around a bit more and listened to the employees yelling their goodbyes to an employee that was leaving and asking her what she was doing that evening. By then I was totally disgusted that I had even given this place another chance and headed for the door. As I was leaving, two women were entering for what appeared to be their first time there. They looked a little bewildered that they weren’t getting a greeting from the employees. I almost told them not to hold their breath, but I just got out of there. I won’t be back.

The racks are so full of clothes you can’t actually look easily at things. I can’t bring my daughter since you can’t really get a stroller in there with it being so packed. I have had a few times where I am waiting to pay and they take a «regular» ahead of me or stand and talk at the register while I wait in line.
Its worth stopping in if you are in the area but don’t make a special trip.

A little disappointing. I checked ahead and was told that I didn’t need an appointment. Then when I showed up, they told me that I did, and that they didn’t have any for nearly TWO MONTHS! Seriously?! I gotta make an appointment two months in advance to bring in one bag of clothes? I don’t think so. Frustrated that I wasted my time and a few gallons of gas! :(

Larger than we expected. Good customer service. Great that they buy new and gently used baby and small childrens clothes. Great selection and fair prices!
