Tacos Las Palmas

My daughter and I eat here a couple times a month. We love the great food and service.

I have had tried many Mexican restaurants in the area and hands down this is the best food in the area. It felt as my grandmother’s was in the kitchen cooking… Delicioso!!!

Great find, as we were passing through. The chips and salsa were very authentic and complimentary. We travel in Mexico frequently, and loved the authenticity here. The wet chicken burrito with green chili is huge for $ 8.50. The pork pastor flautas were also excellent! This place is very clean. And employees friendly. Will definitely visit again on our next trip through!

Found this place on Unilocal on our way back from Colorado, we didn’t know what to expect — but reading the reviews we decided we had to stop. We had a Pastor — marinated pork — burrito, a Caldo de Res and the Enchiladas. All of the food we have been served was fresh and delicious. It will become one of our must food stops on the I80.

Good street tacos are a real treat. They really are all about the meat. I had three… Lengue was very good. Barbacoa was very good. Pastor was perfect. I also had one sope with chorizo… It was also perfect. The folks that run the place are very nice and laid back.

Really yummy authentic food. Cheap, quick and Delish. Had the enchiladas (pork). So much food and very good. Dad had fish taco and shrimp taco. Also very good. Many many locals came in for take out. Definitely more of a take out vibe than sit in but lots of room to stay if you like.

Stopped here based upon the reviews of other people who use Unilocal.It wasn’t good; it wasn’t bad it was meh. The service was really good. The restaurant was very clean. My eating partner got the fajitas. While I got the Carne Asada. Both were middle of the road. Authentic except for the taste. Nice décor. Didn’t come here for that but the place looked nice. Leaving not hungry.

Excellent authentic Mexican food, unlike the usual Americanized version so often served in the Midwest. Very quick service.

I got the cheese enchiladas. I live in Arizona so know good Mexican food and this rocks! Definitely will be returning, if I end up back in the area. The food is flavorful and the service is nice. Doesn’t look very nice from the outside but it’s great!

Lunch specials are great, awesome prices. If i was a local this would be a weekly stop. I had steak and a chicken chicken taco. We split a chicken quesadilla. This was a lot of food, really really good food. We were in and out fast. Friendly staff.

This is the real deal for great authentic Mexican food! The steak tacos and the pastor sopes were fantastic. Thanks to the Unilocalers for helping us discover this place as we passed though town on a trip to the Sturgis SD. 75^th Anniversary. We will return when we are in the area.

A great find on Unilocal.Loved the food: huge portions. Little or no atmosphere, a lot of people take food to go, but enjoyed sitting there and eating. Very nice people. We even bought dessert out of the back of someone’s truck in the parking lot. That was even more unbelievably good. Great place.

Stopped here on a road trip through Nebraska for dinner. We got a wet burrito, some tacos, a sope, and a big horchata to eat in the park across the street — absolutely delicious!

I’m from so cal. We eat a lot of great tacos every week. Wasn’t sure what to expect but took the family there as we were passing thru. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The tacos were good. They tortillas were perfect. If your in the mood for tacos and a beer. I would go.

Basically a hole in the wall with superduper Mexican food. It is all homemade and fresh. The people are friendly and helpful. I have been going to this restaurant for several years and have always found it to be delightful. I highly recommend this establishment.

I consider myself somewhat of a foodie, I rarely eat at chain restaurants. We were visiting Grand Island and looking for somewhere to eat and I came across Tacos Las Palmas. Like anyone on Unilocal,I read the reviews and looked at the pictures. We decided to try it out and I am so glad we did!
It was amazing, fresh and authentic Mexican food. It was not too pricey for what you get and the people were very friendly. The fajitas were great, perfect thickness for the meat, grilled in front of you and not shredded! Definitely try the Horchata for your drink, it’s perfect and refreshing!
If you’re reading this, let me decide for you, go eat at this great place.
P. S. They have a food truck in the parking lot that I assume stays open later than the restaurant.

This is the most amazing MEXICAN FOOD I have ever eaten. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to taste authentic Mexican food. It lives up to the hype.

Love this place! They have great authentic Mexican food and a truck after hours that hits the spot after the bars. I like the beef Torta so much I order it all the time!

Delicious! Exceeded our expectations! Fresh ingredients, accommodating staff and quick service. My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a road trip. We were very full and happy when we left! We would definitely recommend!

The food was five-​star flavor. Ordered the wet chicken burrito. It was spicy, but not too… With a hint of lime and cilantro, covered with green sauce. $ 10.00
