1star for decent service. Blonde bartender is pretty cool. Booze and food way overpriced. Happy hour sucks. $ 6.00 burger for $ 11.95. I should of went to Wendy’s.

Ordered the«warm» chips & salsa and a coors light on happy hour. It was about the farthest thing from happy I can remember. The salsa was just Pace poured from the jar and the chips were those round nacho chips that Walmart sells in a 5lb bag for a dollar. The bar was sticky and the karaōke was bad, bad enough to make me lick my wounds and leave after one beer. The beer was cold… that’s about the only thing worth even one star.

Got dragged here by my roommate and her friends, regrets. This place speaks for itself, the karaōke is bad, the food is bad, the drinks are bad, and the service is just the WORST. Look at the other reviews for affirmation, if you are staying at the hotel I suggest going out for a meal and drinks. AVOID.

This bar has had it’s ups and downs but they have made many improvements including live entertainment during happy hour and a new karaōke host who is a 100% improvement over Lori. This hidden gem has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, if you are hungry they have appetizers, sandwiches, or full course dinners. During Happy Hour you can save $ 2 on appetizers so the prices are pretty good. If you are visiting GJ this bar is located inside Grand Vista Hotel which is also a rather nice hotel and the rates are spectacular.

Great happy hour prices all week long!!! Plus very good entertainment from Bobby Bruce Schlagel who could play and sing a wide variety of music from county, rock, to Bobby Dillon.

After receiving our bill, we realized we were charged $ 8.25 a shot for WARM Tuaca shots we were astounded. Having just traveled from ASPEN where we were charged $ 6.50 for chilled shots of Tuaca we were left flabbergasted. Add in the awfully green bartender who offered McCormick’s as a single malt scotch request from a fellow guest. We will NEVERBEBACK.

The happy hour was well priced, but it was hard to get service. Didn’t try the food based on reviews. Karaōke was pretty bad and the DJ only played older music & country. Definitely doesn’t cater to the younger crowd i.e. 30 something.

My girlfriends and I visited Bailey’s over the weekend and had a not so pleasant experience. This is NOT the first time we’ve been there and had the same issue. There were several of us in our party. We came there because of the karaōke. However, the girl that runs the karaōke business is so extremely rude and unaccommodating, it is pathetic. She accommodates HER friends that come in, but is not pleasant to anyone she is not familiar with. One girlfriend put in a song, then another put in a song… she finally got to do the first one(1 ½ hour later) but the second never got to sing hers. I didn’t giver her a song because I was pretty sure of what was going to happen and needed to remain calm about the situation. The DJ was just taking the pieces of paper and tossing the ones«she didn’t want to play» into a jar. Lots of people(and I’m not kidding) came in long after us and got to sing several times. The DJ also said to one of us,(in a Queen Bee kinda of voice), when a slip with a preferred song was taken up to her«you’re blocking the screen» and then told another friend to «get off my stage». Is this the type of business you want run in your hotel lounge? I would like to suggest that you show her this message, and have a chat with her, on how to run a karaōke business that promotes business rather than send away business. It was extremely rude. We were there to spend money and have a good time. Unfortunately, once again, after 5 years of visiting this place, it was the same situation. It had been well over a year since all of us had come there for karaōke. We had hopes that it wasn’t the same poor excuse of a «karaōke bar» as we had experienced in the past. We did try to make the best of it, but we were treated as though our money was no good. I am very disappointed in the service. It makes the whole hotel look bad. By the way, the bartender working that night said she has gotten several complaints about this woman and the way she runs karaōke. Bailey’s Lounge lost a good amount of money that would have been spent there. We also will not stay at the hotel again due to this reason. Luckily we stayed at hotel down the street, this last weekend, where we were treated like royalty. There were 7 women in our group, total, and we all had separate rooms. That’s a good chunk of change for a hotel, restaurant and lounge. It’s very disappointing that we have to feel like we have to argue with a less than mediocre karaōke business DJ in order to have some fun. Truly a joke. Bye bye Bailey’s, and Grand Vista Hotel.

I stay at the Grand Vista pretty regularly, so I should have known better. However, thirsty and looking to watch the Thursday night football game(which wasn’t on because they dont have the NFL Network), I wandered into Bailey’s and and sided up to the bar. I have no tolerance for dirty beer lines. None. Restaurants need to maintain their tap lines. I had a gross Coors Light while listening to terrible karaōke. Pretty horrible night. The food here is also wildly overprices, even by hotel standards. They guy next to me at the bar was served chicken that was cold and pink in the center. This place appears to have tons of issues. There are many other options in GJ… I would recommend you explore them.
