I only purchased beer so I can’t say much about the liquor aspect. Booze prices and selection seemed about average. As for the beer — Too many beers to possibly keep them fresh. Many beers left warm outside the cooler. No 12-packs of IPA available. Confusing«reward» program that requires 20 purchases to receive a discount. First visit I was told I get 10% off each purchase, jumping to 15% after 20 purchases. Not bad, I thought, that helps to offset their inflated prices. I returned to buy another 6 pack only to be told no discount until 20th purchase. So I have to spend over $ 200 to get a lousy one-time discount?! I’ll pass. Plus my 2nd6-pack tasted like crap, most likely due to it being kept warm.

Who ever is in charge of ordering beer here knows their shit. They have an absolutely amazing collection of beer, american and foreign. They stock very many of the reputable breweries in the craft beer world. The selection is constantly rotating: I am always pleasantly surprised to find that one special release I’ve been hearing about on their shelves. I have not bought hard liquor from here but was told by a friend that it was expensive. I can’t vouch for this though, I only come here for the beer cooler.

Hey, to any women out there that would like a little ego boost. College Liquors has instituted a new policy of «carding» everyone. While I’ve been told I look young for my age(67) it has been more than a few years since I was asked for my ID. I guess it’s just another level of stupidity where you don’t have to use your brain or common sense to judge age. Other than that the store is great. They have a great selection of single bottles of micro brew beers behind the coolers. Great place to look for something new and not have to buy a 6-pack and find out you don’t like it.

Best liquor store on this side of town. Everyone that works there is super nice, including the owner. They have a HUGE selection of single beers to make your own sixer in the cooler in the back. For those N/A beer drinkers, they only have O’ Douls. They have great availability of micro brews from Colorado and beyond. They also rock a pretty competent wine and liquor selection. Prices even compete with Liquor Barn for a lot of their stuff. –30 pacs are right around 20 bucks. — Sixers of micro’s are right around 9 bucks. More parking in the back when the Ale House gets crazy. They are open early-late and stay open on most holidays!
