This place is amazing! Discovered Colorado Legacy while shopping at the Grand Junction farmer’s market, and after one sample of the Morning Moonshine we were hooked! We’ve started purchasing all of our whole beans from their store and the price is excellent for local, freshly roasted beans that produce a wonderful brew. Try the chocolate covered coffee beans as well-they’re heavenly.

The best fresh roasted coffee on the western slope! Get our weekly stash. They roast on Mondays. Favorites include, Guatemalan, Belize, Mesa Blend, River Blend. The cold brew is tasty too!

Here it is, almost four years have passed since my first review, ANDNOBODYELSEHAS UnilocalEDTHISPLACE!!! Earth to Grand Junction, these are the best damn beans in town, by far! Anyway, Dan suggested something new this week, a pound of freshly roasted Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Dan knows I’m not afraid of a little acid — the kind found in coffee — so I went with his recommendation. My first doppio was a little disappointing, but after fiddling with my Barratza a bit and increasing the tamp pressure a few pounds(is ANYBODY still with me?) I produced what may be the most exquisite shot of my life. Earthy, acidic, with layers of exotic aftertastes. So head on down to Colorado Legacy and grab a pound so you can start working«Yirgacheffe» into all of your casual conversations.

Could possibly be my favorite business on The Western Slope. Cup of fresh locally roasted fine coffee for a one dollar, seriously who does that anymore? The owners are great people, the store is a great atmosphere and their product is the best. They even have 1-gallon growlers of iced Toddy coffee i.e. «Morning Moonshine» and it is amazing! I noticed they won an award for«Best Drink» at a recent Taste of the Grand Valley and it is no surprise. Highly recommend you stop by and give it a try.
