Edgewater has gone down hill in the last 3 months. New hostess is rude. Went in last night to have beers and play games on the lawn she let us know that it was closed for a private party. We let her know we came down just to be outside and she said«oh well nothing we can do» Hopefully they can get back on track they were my favorite place in town but would rather go to Ale house any more.

Best thing about Edgewater is their patio and expansive lawn to hang out on and play cornhole. Amazing views of the Grand Mesa and surrounding area. They have beer as well.

This place is solid, been here a bunch of times both with the kids and without. Great big lawn/beer garden with lots of pub games. Lots good beers and both the luke Hayes and the Redge Hansen are fantastic.

Logan was our waiter and he gave it his 100% to keep up with demand but you could see that it was difficult for him. His area was far too large and the place was too busy for him to accommodate everyone. My Husband had the pork sliders and they were so-so. I had the vegetarian nachos. The chips were stale, the cheese was not melted and there was chicken in my «vegetarian» dish. The Cilantro sauce that came with the nachos was outstanding though. We had the amber ale which was good. The rest of the meal was not. We don’t believe we would return.

We came here on a Thursday with a group of 5. My first thought, the place is SMALL!!! Not a lot of seating for big parties. They do have an outside seating area that is a decent size, however it was cold when we came in(March 31st, I think), so sitting outside was out of the question. Our server was alright from what I can remember, nothing spectacular about him stood out. We all ordered some beers, which I have to say were pretty decent. I’m from Michigan and no one does beer better than the city of Grand Rapids(Beer City USA). I ordered Fish and Chips and they were fabulous along with the apple curry slaw. Pretty good food, not horrible service. May or may not be back. There are a few other breweries that I’ll try first.

Went here on a Friday evening and the beer was great. They cover the spectrum from stouts to largers – everything I had was delicious. The food was good but it took about an hour hence four stars. Not sure if they source locally but seems like GJ would have lots of opportunity for that. The outside has a huge area with a stage where kids were running around having a blast. Lots of happy thirsty parents and bikers.

I love this place. Land’s End is my all-time favorite microbrew. Great food, best onion rings I have ever had.

Good beer and attentive bartender. IPA was tasty and the happy hour price was well worth it.

The food was great though dessert left a lot to be desired. The service was OK, our waiter forgot a few things. I loved the Philly cheese steak and the fried green beans were awesome. The atmosphere was inviting though it was hard to find a table.

Great beer, awesome food. Old Bay fries… Need I say more? Great place and atmosphere, and a good wait staff that knows something about the food and beer. Gives the original location a rerun for its money.

First time I was here, the burger was perfect. This time, it was kind of dried out. I had the BBQ bacon and the burger was overcooked and not enough sauce. Onion rings are 8 star at least. The grilled tomatoes with Asiago and balsamic were just so delicious. Kind of made up for the burger — and, as I say, the first time I ate here, the burger was stellar. I’d tell them next time to only cook it to medium. Nice atmosphere, inside and out. I like the beer, but don’t find it was amazing as Palisade Brewery’s beer. But, I have a good time here and the location near the Riverfront Trail is perfect. Have some beer, take a walk, go to the Botanic Gardens. Fun times.

I had The Rado and it was awesome. Always add an over easy egg. Great beer, great environment, great waitresses.

I ordered the apple curry and it tastes as bad as it smells in your hallway when your neighbors are cooking it; HOWEVER, the Rado burger was the best thing to grace my lips since that girl who was wayyyy out of my league got drunk and allowed me to kiss her. The bacon was super crispy, avocado was as smooth as melted butter. The atmosphere was great too, you must pass a few tweakers on the way here but it’s well worth it.

I really like Edgewater maybe even more than the original Kannah Creek. I’ve always had really good service here, even when they were super busy. They also handle large parties well. I’m not a huge beer fan, but I love Edgewater’s margaritas. They are made with fresh lime and aren’t too sweet. The food at Edgewater is also amazing. I’m super impressed with their veggie burger, and it’s the best in town in my opinion. The onion rings are homemade and fresh. The fried green beans are also delicious. I highly recommend Edgewater. I come here often because everyone else likes it, too.

This is Kannah Creek’s second location. I have never visited the original location– so I don’t have much to compare it to in that sense(though according to my boyfriend, the food menus are different) — but I HAVE drank my fair share of craft beer and I think Kannah Creek’s is pretty darn good. We were down in Grand Junction for the weekend so we decided to stop in for a couple beers. The brewery is a good size and they have a big space for outdoor seating, which was perfect for enjoying the sunshine while we were there. I tried their hefeweizen, IPA, and stout and enjoyed all of them. The hefe was really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for on a warm spring day! The IPA, though, was probably my favorite. I’ve tried Kannah Creek’s IPA in bottles before(their IPA, amber, and pale are sold in mixed 12 packs around Denver), but drinking it fresh at the brewery made it even better. It was floral and really well balanced; not in-your-face hoppy. Not that I mind in-your-face hoppy, but it’s sometimes nice to find an IPA that strikes a good balance. Food menu was fairly extensive and seemed to consist of creative but basic bar food. We were mostly looking for beer, but split an order of the beer battered green beans suggested by our server. They were a perfect snack. Our server was pretty cool too and everything came out quickly.

I am still trying to figure out why you can’t see the river from a place called the Edgewater Brewery. I had the fish and chips which were pretty good. The waiter was hard to locate when we needed the check, but otherwise it was a pleasant lunch. The bathrooms were very nicely decorated. I especially liked the stone/steel tile job.

Me and a few friends went to Edgewater Tap & Grill last Friday night and had a great time! I wasn’t familiar with Kannah Creek Brewing so I was very happy to see they had a good IPA, the Broken Oar IPA had a nice hoppy bite to it. I think everyone in our group of 5 found a different ale to their liking. Edgewater has most of the ale bases covered, from a blonde to a stout and everything in between. We started with some cheese curds, which were lightly battered and came with ranch. A great start for all of us and went quite nicely with the first couple of rounds. For dinner I had the Executive burger(sautéed baby bellas, caramelized onions, beef demi glacé, horseradish white cheddar) and that was downright tasty. It could have used some more horseradish flavor, and the cheese was kind of lost really. Maybe go with horsey sauce and more cheddar? The fries were also good, not sure if they were cut on site but there were very fresh tasting. Everyone else was happy with their meals too, and we all said we’ll be back for more.

Edgewater Tap & Grill is in the same building as Kannah Creek Brewing Company’s bottling operation. The menu is different from the location on 12th street, they did away with pizza and focused on burgers. The onion rings are tempura battered and taste divine. We all ordered different burgers and the Rado was my favorite. There is a huge lawn right off the patio complete with games. It’s hard to beat a Broken Oar IPA while hanging out at Edgewater.
