Worst place ever spent 2 hundred between bowling food and drinks they cut us off our game short saying we didn’t pay for a child and we did so they mess up and told us to get over it and leave not worth the money you spend at this place

I love to go here! Its affordable, and the fast food is great! The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve never been when its overcrowded, I avoid anywhere there’s a huge crowd(movies, restaurants) There are alot of video games for kids and pool tables. Drinks are reasonable. Don’t expect a brand new shiny place, this bowling alley has been here for over 30 years… But its clean and well maintained. They’ve made a huge of effort to keep a family recreation destination open!

The new remodel with a variety of activities make this a tempting place to go for family fun, if you can stand being unnecessarily crowded together and terrible food that is. This bowling alley now has pool tables and a decent arcade area. The reason i only gave this place 2 stars is because during our visit they insisted on placing every family right next to each other when there was plenty of room throughout the bowling alley. This made it extremely difficult for our party of 6 to bowl. Besides that, our scoreboard kept malfunctioning over and over. Do yourself a favor and grab food BEFORE you come here. We ordered a pizza for our group and the sampler platter. Food finally came out an hour later and the pizza had the wrong toppings AND was doughy! The sampler platter which really small and they charge you an extra dollar if you want ranch AND marinara which really should come with a dish of that nature. So basically, if you wanted to come in and have some beers and didn’t mind being super crowded then this place would be fine. Bowling these days is getting too expensive for this kind of service.

Thank goodness something in Grand Junction is actually affordable as far as family entertainment goes! Monday nights from 5 – 10 they offer dollar games and dollar shoes… I can take my family of 6 out for under 20 bucks! We like the little area at the far end where they have 6 lanes of bumper bowling so our small children don’t disturb other adult/serious bowlers. No refills on the soda pitchers(packed full of ice!) is a tad bit stingy but they have to make their money somewhere, I suppose. Grand Junction’s best-kept secret, in our opinion!

Freeway Bowl is a no frills, typical«divey» bowling alley. But you know what? I like it. It was clean, everything was in working order, service was friendly, and prices were totally reasonable. Know what else? Skyy Fusion Citrus vodka(and cranberry) was on special for $ 3.50. A fun night altogether! Nothing special, but really nothing wrong with this place, either.
