K Nails

Went here yesterday based on Unilocal reviews. My experience was very disappointing and even a bit upsetting. Tony, a man nail tech that did my manicure, was gruff and harsh. I wanted a French manicure; Tony went on and on about how it wouldn’t look good so I settled for plain manicure. Tony had a cold and kept coughing; this man is touching my hands! The top coat was applied ¼″ from my cuticles so it looks like it needs to be redone after just 1 day. He said I was holding my hands too stiff and I was fighting him. Maybe I was just reacting to the fact that he made me uncomfortable so my hands and body were tense. Go somewhere else; somewhere that says «yes, I’d be happy to do a French manicure!»

K Nails is one of the best nail salons I have ever visited. I’ve had mani/​pedis all over the U.S., as well as in Europe and this salon is at the top of my list. I frequently see Tony, who is the fastest tech I’ve ever seen… fast without suffering quality, that is. If you are in a rush, he has been known to do a fill in 22 minutes flat. A full set usually takes around 40 – 45 minutes. I also love that he throws in a complimentary gel top coat with every, new, full set… as well as small designs. He is an amazing nail artist, too! Any design you desire, may it be small or fully blinged out… he is an expert. Although I am Tony’s client, the rest of the staff is amazing. Always extremely friendly, welcoming and make you feel like you’re a part of the family. Danny, Wendy, Tammy, Sunny, Vida and Tony… a great, professional team that will have my business and loyalty for years to come. Highly recommend!

Worst. Pedicure. Ever.
This sweet lady seemed to be the mom of the place — but she has no business doing pedicures. She made me bleed (I still have scabs a week later) in three different places early on, so I was in pain every step of the way. To top it off, the polish doesn’t even look good. She slopped it on and used remover to clean most of it off my skin — though she missed a few spots.
I’ll never go back. Save your money.

Best place to have your nails done. I always make my appointments with Wendy. She always does a smashing job and her hand massages will keep you coming back, trust me! Never any problems with breaking nails between fill ins. You won’t leave with bleeding cuticles like all the other nail salons in GJ. I’m a customer for life!

I came here for my pedicure and manicure. I didn’t have an appointment and they were really nice and took me in right away. Everything is very clean and they are very organized. Wendy is a sweetie.

Love this place! This is my mom’s go-​to nail salon, and sometimes I’m lucky enough to go with her when I’m in town. They do a good, high quality job. The polish lasts a long time, and they’ve done really cute nail designs for both me and my mom. I can vouch for Tammy, who’s also my mom’s go-​to lady. She’s a sweetheart. Can’t go wrong here!
