My Cousin and I visited Rob at what is now Voodoo Circus. The place was very clean, and Rob was really cool and accommodating, but still willing to give his input as far as the art is concerned. He wasn’t overbearing, or rude in any way. He was a good balance with giving us what we want, but creating a unique piece of art… I’m very happy with our new ink. I will go back. Great experience, great work, great Guy! UPDATE: a few months after I submitted this review, my Cousin tried to contact him. He no longer worked at this shop. She had put a deposit down to save a chunk of time for herself and her Sisters to get tattoos. Her sister was not impressed with his lettering technique, and wanted to go somewhere else. Even though he was no longer at that shop, or at any shop that he could do tattoos, he refused to refund the deposits she had paid. She passed away a few months later. He knew that she was ill, and the ink work they wanted done was to remember her by. He turned out to be not so great of a person, and artist. I have to go pay someone else to fix the lettering he had done. Turned out he ended up with a large tip for no work done.

Not the best tattoo work I’ve ever had done, but I have seen worse. They were able to take me as a walk in, and draw something up right then, which was nice. Their tattoo area is pretty exposed to folks walking in and out, so if you are getting something done in more of a ‘private place’ you’re going to end up rather exposed. But, if you’re getting a tattoo there to begin with, that’s probably not something you care about. They were really clean, reasonably priced(more so then some of the other joints on North Ave) and pretty timely with their work, and I’m sure if you actually made an apt. with the head guy, you would come out with something a little better. Someone did place an order for a pizza from Diorio’s so it would be ready when I was done, that was a nice touch. Oh yeah, CASHONLY.
