Living in California, we’re used to fine cuisine. What a surprise to find such a gem with phenomenal food in Grand Junction as we passed through! As good as(or better than!) any authentic Indian Restaurant in San Francisco. We will make sure to stop here every time we pass through!

This restaurant was not good! The service was horrible, we had to ask for everything, nobody checked on us and the waiter fell asleep in the chair. The food was bland and not very good. The worst part was that we had to wake up the waiter so we could get our check and leave! Not worth it will not be going there ever again

Love supporting local, family owned business, especially when the food is delicious and the service is so gracious. We have tried the lunch buffet several times and you get good variety for a reasonable price. we ordered the pork vindaloo, beef korma, channa saag, and samosas off the dinner menu and it was fabulous. I love spicy foods and each dish had its own rich flavors and one can request your level chilie heat. Definitely recommend eating at Namaste Nepal restaurant.

Amazing! The service is very friendly and patient. The food is the best Indian in Colorado and likely Utah and most certainly worth a stop. The heat factor is no joke. 7 on the scale is actually very warm so be mindful. Much love to the folks who opened this establishment!

We discovered this gem of a restaurant while we were on vacation and looking for somewhere to have dinner. This is clearly a big hit with the locals because every table was taken and I can understand why. The food and service was exceptional. I’m a vegetarian and there were plenty of choices on the menu. I had the vegetable korma which was extremely tasty with exactly the level of spice I would expect when ordering ‘medium’. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for really great Indian food!

This place is really good. I came for lunch and was impressed with the buffet. Everything I had was excellent. And the staff was genuine. Finally the price was maybe the best part. Much less than I expected. I would recommend Namaste Nepal to anyone wanting a really good, lite meal.

Good food, great service, and clean bathrooms. Also low cost. Good to see solid places starting to take hold in The Junk.

Highly edible, the service was spot on, and memorable. The lunch buffet was okay, this is on Grand Junction so what do you expect. The saag was the best dish at the buffet, and the naan was very nice too. I was not huge on the Marsala chicken, or the Vindaloo, they were both very watery. The peas and potatoes were highly edible. For the 7.99 lunch buffet you it was satisfying and tasted healthy. 5 star service, which was impressive, and that is saying something.

This restaurant, though not the biggest or most put together, is quite the little gem. I just have to say that the food is AMAZING. Not just good, not just great, but overwhelmingly satisfying. I don’t even remember what I got, but it was a nice warm bowl of delicious curry-like soup with noodles and cabbage and just amazing deliciousness. The service was very good. Our server was nice, and continued to refill our chai’s throughout the evening. It didn’t take long for our food to be brought out to us but when it was — this is the best part — it was brought out by an animated and bubbly man, I would assume the chef, who placed our food so delicately and genuinely you could tell that it was full of love and happiness. This was something I had never experienced before, and I loved it. It’s always amazing to know that your food is made with heart, and it makes it taste so much better. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It might seem a little different at first, since it isn’t your typical«nice restaurant» environment. But it’s one of those«hole in the wall» gems that you just fall in love with. I’m not completely sure what the best food to get is because I’ve only had the thing I got. I can definitely say that their Himalayan Chai is one of a kind though. I would definitely get that for sure. Go here, it’s amazing, that’s all I can say.

I really enjoyed the baigan bharta(eggplant) and the saag paneer. The service was consistent and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Food was very tasty, the vegetable korma was delicious, Naan made fresh, and my wife tried the Tibetan momo dish. Big problem was the service. Restaurant was pretty busy, I heard another patron mention she hadn’t ever seen it so busy. It took over an hour for us to get our food, and we had to point out they had forgotten one of our appetizers. Also, the cute little girl mentioned by others became quite irritating when she wouldn’t leave us alone. Our kids were about the same age so I’m sure she wanted a playmate, but none of the other family members came over to collect her. Honestly not sure I’d go back, just because of the kid. It’s all I can do to keep my own children under control at a restaurant, they don’t need the distraction. And I’d like to eat my dinner without an extra little person in my booth.

Loved this place so much I brought more people back the second night! The staff are very friendly and usually quick service though as they are getting popular and are small, weekends got busy so be prepared to spend some time. I loved the Kashmiri naan(cherry pistachio bread), chicken or vegetable korma and the samosa appetizer. Their ice cream is homemade, spiced and refreshing. Maybe skip the luscious milk balls, odd taste. This place is definitely a new fave!

Lunch buffet is very tasty. Good selection of vegetarian and chicken dishes. Bread is excellent. Dinner is less successful — the sauces tend to rich and creamy. Which is not my style for Indian food. I got extra hot spice to add to them, but the richness remains. I had the saag paneer — and what should have been a lovely, light, spiced chicken ended up with almost a butter sauce on it. My husband had an eggplant dish that we expected to have a nice acid bite from the tomatoes cooked with it — but it had a similar creamy sauce. Don’t get me wrong — they taste good, but you can only eat a few bites before the richness takes a toll on your tastebuds. So, I’d like a little more vibrant spicing and more typically Indian dishes. I think that the owners worry about making things too spicy and/or too authentic. Service is excellent and friendly. I will stick to the lunch buffet and will enjoy eating here!

I highly recommend this restaurant for quick and friendly service and great food. My husband and I went here on a Wednesday night, and it was surprisingly busy. We started with some papadams and mango chutney(my favorite), which were both delicious. We ordered Malai Kofta(vegetable dumplings in curry) and chicken korma; both were delicious and enough for multiple meals. I can’t wait to have leftovers for lunch. We also got an order of plain naan and aloo paratha. Once again, both were tasty. Something that stuck out to me was the wonderful service. I really appreciated that excellent treatment from all servers. We cannot wait to try the lunch buffet on a weekend, and since there is a fully stocked bar, you can enjoy a few drinks with your meal as well. Check out this place; you will not be disappointed!

Simplicity at its best. Great taste. Great food. Very courteous staff. Marvelous experience. Found this place in the middle of no where while on a cross country road trip. The Tadka Dal Fry is to die for. Closest to how they make it back home in India. Loved every morsel of the dal and chicken tikka. Wish could come back here. Slightly far from Nyc though.

Our greeting to the restaurant included a five-year-old beautiful child(who was playing outside of the front door) telling us that the restaurant was open and that we should go inside. We were greeted and were quickly seated at a nice, quiet table. The first thing we noticed was the immaculate state of the place. The floor was clean enough to eat off, the starched linens were pure white, and the eating utensils were polished to a shine. The menu is expansive and includes a variety of delicious dishes from India and Nepal. We started with the aloo paratha. It was subtly spiced and the dipping sauce had a delicate tang. My husband ordered the beef kebab and I ordered a vegetable curry dish. The servings were large and the food was delicious. My curry was very flavorful and not overly creamy — just right for a healthy option. The owner of the restaurant came by and introduced himself to us and checked to make sure that all was good. The service was superior with servers stopping by intermittently to refill our glasses with water and to ask us if everything was alright. Everyone who worked there was gracious and warm. This ethnic restaurant was sorely needed in Grand Junction! it’s so nice to taste something other than barbecue or Mexican food. Give it a try! Upon leaving the little five-year-old child called out to us «happy Friday night to you!» We will definitely be back!
