The vets at orchard mesa are not just educated and trustworthy pet consultants, they are caring and build relationships with your pet. I have been taking my cats and two dogs here and and they are professional and passionate about my babies! I was impressed on their email mailing system and appointment reminders through mail and by phone. Once you have your pet seen you can start tracking their entire medical history on their pet portals and keep track of shots and upcoming appointments. Orchard Mesa has the cleanest facility and most welcoming staff of any vet I have been to in Mesa County. After trying on several vet offices for size, Orchard Mesa fit my family and all my pets unique and special needs. 5 stars for sure! They rock!

I am appalled by this facility. My dog had a growth that was labeled a non-​emergency a check or two ago. We came back for another check and the same vet stated it need off immediately and were made to feel like poor parents. We were given a quote for the removal and an unnecessary teeth cleaning. We had to budget for this kind of cost w/​no intention of the teeth cleaning. When we scheduled we were given a quote, which appeared high and w/​no teeth cleaning requested. I came in to drop my pooch off and was presented a bill that ranged $ 160 – 465 higher from the original quote and w/​a teeth cleaning. They bargained, was made to feel bad and went through w/​the surgery. BUT I’ve found a highly recommended vet whose agreed to do the aftercare. NEVER coming back.

I’ve taken my three dogs here for four years and have never had anything but well-​explained, thorough, and professional service from each of the vets, especially Dr Tania, our main vet. When my beloved dog had to be euthanized, they were compassionate and supportive. Highly recommended!

I’m very dissatisfied with the care my dog received while in this clinic. She was seen on a Friday and was diagnosed with ‘sinus drainage that was causing her tonsils to be inflamed”. She was prescribed 1000mg of Cephalexin 2x per day. Saturday evening she was rushed to Grand Valley Veterinary Emergency Center and diagnosed with pneumonia. She was in intensive critical care all weekend. On Monday she was transferred back to Orchard Mesa for day care. Immediately, Dr. Clark wanted to change the treatment plan as advised by GVVEC and run more bloodwork and take more x-​rays. I was quoted almost $ 700 and asked for a credit card. When I told Kylie I’d like to speak to the Dr. about his recommended treatment plan, I was told I’d receive a phone call. After 3 calls, I demanded to speak with Dr. Clark who, once he finally came to the phone, told me, «we’ve been slammed with appointments all day». When I inquired about her treatment plan he told me he hadn’t had an opportunity to review her file from GVVEC. This conversation took place at 2pm when she had been there since 8am!!! She was transferred back to GVVEC at 5:30pm. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I was with the level of care and customer service when she was at GVVEC! Orchard Mesa… not so much.
