Sprouts Farmers Market

I was SO happy that there was a Sprouts in Grand Junction, CO. Since I was visiting from San Diego, it felt like a little bit of home away from home.
The parking lot here is large, and Sprouts shares the parking spots with an arts and crafts store. As I walked towards the store, I noticed the veggie and fruit stands were not outside. (They are in SD) But, you have to keep in mind it is not 70 degree weather in Grand Junction in December. Therefore, all the bins are inside. Not a problem. Once I walked into the store, it was smelling clean and crisp. Plus, there was barely anyone in the store which was a pleasant change from SD.
As I walked around the store. I noticed the cleanliness and the organization of the store. And, although this is a standard for Sprouts. It made a bold statement at this store. Bravo to the staff who make it happen.
Of course I found everything and then some. I had a positive grocery shopping experience at this store. So much that I would return to this location again, should I be in this area.

Super helpful employee saw how many options of sunscreen we were considering and offered that we could try one we were looking at and that she could make it a tester. So glad she said that because after two spritzes I tried some on my face and it felt good — not greasy nor did it sting. Ended up buying the first one and did not need to try any others but it was nice to have the peace of mind knowing it worked for us before buying.
Checker was also very friendly and greeted us upon checkout.

Very happy for a store that carries organic produce. Giving only a generous 3 stars because, for Grand Junction, its a nice option, and the customer service is great, but compared to other towns of the same size, its below par. A very small portion of the produce is organic, they sell GMO produce and processed foods, and what bothers me the most, is that they are CONSISTENTLY out of my staples! Since, as a shopper, I know its a problem, I have to wonder why the management hasn’t corrected the problem (my daughter just came home from shopping there — Sprouts is out of ³⁄₈ items on the list!).

You will find more organic choices here than most grocery stores but they run out of the fruits and vegetables fast! It’s like they don’t stock up on enough and they are always out of bananas and lemons. Their prices are fantastic though and their meat selection is excellent.

Sprouts in GJ has the nicest, most knowledgable and especially patient staff. This is eclipsed however, by the quality of their stock. Great stuff! Beautiful produce. Healthy world food. Very nice deli and butcher shop. Pretty store with great parking and I’m in there every week.

Dirt cheap deals on produce… if I shop the sales right I can get a whole cart full of fresh fruits and vegetables for under 20 bucks.
When they first opened they really enticed me in by having super great deals on meat, like $ 1.99/lb ground beef but have since not had any impressive meat sales… wish they would go back to that.

Sprouts sells the best store-​baked blueberry pie in Junction, and it’s only $ 4! Great prices on produce as well.

I was hoping for more local fresh veggies and a real deli counter.
I did buy some fish here and it was very good and well priced. The serve yourself bins of a good variety of bulk foods was a real plus.
It is nice to find a store that sells a wide variety of organic options!

Great market for quality and varied products. I love that they have tons of vegan options and super fresh produce.

My kids love the candy bins and the section of sodas. Deli wraps are delish. Produce is outstanding. Prices are compatible with other local grocery stores. Just wish it was closer to North GJ

Finally a place with good, quality produce, some organic, some not and it’s always fresh. Great prices, seriously organic, non-​horomone or antibiotic infested milk, 3 $ a gallon.
Great butcher with nice choices of different meats. They have Kangaroo, Boar and a couple other exotic meats. They support as much local as they can, when local food is in season. Staff is great and helpful.
They even bring in seasonal exotic fruits such as Dragon Fruit and Rumbatun at times.

Add your phone # to google maps please. I already let a manger know about this issue almost a month ago.

It’s like Safeway with the addition of some organic choices and a slightly better shopping experience. Organic picks are slim in the produce aisle.

I am very glad to have the Sprouts Store open here in the Valley. I enjoy your products and I hope that all goes well for your staff and that you get the much needed break soon :) As I was waiting in line for even 35 mins. it is ok… as it was the first day of opening. Some were complaining but I don’t think they realize how long you and your staff have been working and on your feet for up to 15 + hours for days on end… so Thank you. The one thing that might be helpful and I am not sure you have it there? but at the deli counter i heard people asking about how to cook certain items. like the stuffed clams etc. and some of the other stuffed chickens etc. If you had small index type info cards for people to take with them that might be helpful. And I am not sure but the coupons that I printed off of your web site. they do not have bar codes on them and that seems to take up time at the checkout. Anyway. thanks for being here in Grand Junction.

Super busy for it’s first week. The new employees are all friendly and helpful, all prices are reasonably inexpensive with a very wide selection of organic/​natural food products. I’m really glad we finally got one of these in Junction!

I attended the friends and family preview night tonight. There were generous with their samples! Yummy!
The store is nicely laid out and IF the prices stay what they have on everything currently, then Grand Junction is going to be very, very happy with Sprouts.
Their bulk section wasn’t all I had been dreaming of though… I had heard the prices and selections were wonderful, so I must have let my imagination get the better of me. They had a nice selection of dried fruits, cereals, grains and chocolate covered goodies, but no spices. Oh wait, I take that back. They had salt. I guess I’ll still have to slide over to Vit. Cottage still to get those.
They had a great deli, meat and cheese section. Lots of yummy looking house-​made sausages and ready to heat meals at very decent prices!
I’ll update as soon as I get through there a few times and learn about the customer service and see if these great deals hold strong!
