SSD Plastics

I was looking for a new cutting service. SSD Plastics solicited my business so I decided to give them a try. The first time they cut my material, they did a very good job, charged a reasonable price, got it done quickly and were pleasant to deal with. The second time, the quality wasn’t quite as good. The cuts were slightly rougher, and the third time I used them, I nicely pointed out the problems with the second job and asked if they could please try to do cleaner cuts. I really thought I was pretty nice about it. Then they called me several days later and said it would cost more than they had initially quoted me to do the job. I said that would be okay.
Then they took 3 months to get to my job. Not 3 days, not 3 weeks — 3 MONTHS. I called many times to ask if it was done yet, and they just said it «fell a little deeper through the cracks than most jobs» and that they were going to get to it. Finally after months of completely neglecting my job, I called them to say I was coming in to pick up my material so I could take it somewhere else where they would do the job. That’s when they finally got it done.
No apologies, no concessions for the delays and terrible service, nothing.
I won’t be back.
