Sundance Marine

I spoke with Gus on the phone. I live over an hour away. I discussed some outboard motor repair work with him. Discuss the price three times. I even said so let’s be clear this is the price no extra cost for labor. Gus told me that’s absolutely correct and we agreed upon the price. Based on what he told me I drove the more than an hour to Sundance marine with my boat. Upon arrival Gus was nowhere to be found. I asked to speak with Gus and was told he was busy. I explained to the counter person i spent 25 minutes speaking with Gus and then came to an agreement with him. The gentleman the counter didn’t care. He told me I needed to explain everything to him again. So I did, he began telling me about what he was going to cost. I explain to him that’s not even close to what Gus and i agreed on. The counter person again told me well that’s what it’s going to cost. I asked again to have them call Gus. They tried to call Gus and again he was unavailable. This is the classic bait and switch. The guy that agrees on the price is never available when you get there then the price I was quoted was three times as much as much as what was agreed to. So just to be clear, the work and the price was discussed and clarified three different times with Gus. When I arrived the switch took place. I would not ever recommend anyone do any business with Sundance without having something in writing first. Protect yourself from the bait and switch.

Driving from Denver to Bullfrog Marina (Lake Powell) and find out I need an engine part for a Mercruiser engine. (An idler pulley) Gus helped me out, and ensured a great trip for us. Thanks Gus and Sundance.

Took my boat to have it buffed and waxed. It was a process and Gus was quick with his actions to fix any issues we had! He works hard for customer satisfaction!
