I was very pleased with the service! Even though it was busy, I noticed everyone coming in was instantly greeted. The vibe was very warm and intimate! Beautiful paintings! Fairly priced wine. Enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting!

Every time we have friends/family come out to visit, this is the winery we bring them to. The history, the education of winetasting, the atmosphere, the pleasantry of the owners is above and beyond. Everyone in our groups we bring, including ourselves, never leave empty handed. I’ve tasted them all and top of the line, but I have a favorite and that would be the Port. May sound sad to some, to think I could consume more than 1 of their bottles, but I can. Wish they were larger. I don’t have often but when I do, it’s one of my best R&R days of all time.

Great atmosphere, beautiful location! Tasting was free and the lady that served us was hilarous. We bought 6 bottles! Recommend trying the port!

Beautiful scenery and ambience. I have had alcohol about as many times as there are fingers on one hand, and therefor didn’t really know what I would like. The staff was helpful and the selection given was quite good.

Very pleasant atmosphere and winery in Western Colorado. I was staying nearby and decided to stop by after spotting it from the road. The grounds are very nicely kept and there are large stone buildings for weddings or other large gatherings. The wines were also quite good, this place really surprised me. The wine shop also has a very large array of local artisan products. Worth the trip if your passing through the area.

My sister, who is an assistant winemaker in California, recommended Two Rivers. Her recommendation was a good one; Two Rivers has some excellent wines. A couple seemed too green to be pouring just yet, but their complimentary tastings and their reasonable prices are welcome in an age where a tasting can set you back $ 20 and a bottle of marginal plonk is $ 50. Friendly atmosphere. Note: While I’m not much of a rose’ fan, their Tulip is of note for its striking color and fresh flavors.

If you enjoy wine tasting this is the place to be! Rob, our host was both informative and entertaining. We visited from Rhode Island while visiting family and we were all pleasantly surprised.

This vineyard and château is beautiful! Walking on the grounds were very reminiscent of the Sonoma/Napa wine region! Very elegant! The wines were also exceptional. I enjoyed their merlot, cab Sauvignon, and tulip. My husband really liked their Syrah. Definitely make this your first or last stop in the palisade wine region, you won’t be disappointed!

We visited 4 or 5 wineries in the Grand Junction/Palisade area and this one was the best. The woman working was knowledgeable and pleasant. The property is very nice. We learned they have a bed & breakfast. And of course the wine was good.

The winery grounds are beautiful with the Colorado National Monument Park as the backdrop. You’ll get a tasting of each wine(I think it was 7 or 8). The pours are twice what I’ve received from other wineries– which I very much appreciated. The Syrah and Cab were my favorites, and the Tulip would be perfect on a warm day. The prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you’re in the area.

The Two Rivers Winery & Château is located outside of Grand Junction along the route to The Colorado National Monument, hence our stay. Apparently there are multiple vineyards in the area and barrel tasting and wine tasting is an activity that draws participation. We were looking to be near the monument. The rooms are located on the second floor of a large room used for weddings and wine tastings. There is no elevator. There is a breakfast room and breakfast is included in your room cost and the meals are ample and tasty with a hot item prepared. Coffee or tea is available in the morning. Wine tasting is available in another building, however we did not participate. During our stay a fund raiser was held for the local art school and we were able to attend at no extra cost aside from the cost of our drinks. Although described as «jazz» upon inquiry, it was bluegrass music. Wonderful bluegrass music on the green behind the hotel. Because the château is mainly a wedding or wine venue it is cavernous with no real sitting area that aren’t offices for a staff member. The grounds are mainly a vineyard so staff are not available outside of office hours so if you arrive after office hours your keys will be left for pickup. Guests are relied upon to lock the main doors in the evening. Our room faced the road and the vineyard and was between the breakfast room and another room. If you have an option get a room facing the back which features beautiful rock formations associated with the Monument. As I mentioned the building is cavernous so one afternoon we were sleeping after hiking at the Monument and other guests arrived, one of whom had a room next to ours. They stood outside our door and held a very loud conversation rather than enter their room to reduce the noise. Had I been dressed I would have asked them to move along since their every word reverberated in the empty hall. They also removed ice from the breakfast room that necessitated what seemed like an ice pick. Suffice it to say they were noisy and somewhat intrusive. Otherwise guests were friendly and added to the stay. Our room had a king sized bed, was comfortable in temperature, had limited storage for clothes and a small television. Other guests knowing the Château had brought their own Keurig as coffee is not available in the room. Since there is no front desk and we were on the road for two weeks we lost track of our days and checked out one day early. When we realized our error we called and were credited only a portion of our extra day because they stated they did not know we left. That is a bit hard to believe given we checked out with the staff person on duty, but it does reflect that the hotel portion is not really the business of the Château. Indeed, one would have assumed that staff would have inquired why we were leaving earlier than expected however they aren’t tuned in to the guests, which is somewhat disappointing. The Château is close to some very good restaurants in Grand Junction and Fruita so meals are not a problem.

Really loved this place for both the wine and the Château. Beautiful views of the Colorado National Monument. Really lovely place to spend the night. We planned on one night but stayed an extra because it was so nice. Very reasonably priced for such a classy place and breakfast(which was included) was great. Lots to choose from including a fresh fruit selection. Staff was very friendly. We will stay here again the next time we’re in town.

I went to visit this winery with my husband and another couple. Not only were we not acknowledged, but no one ever even talked to us. My friend ad her husband even stood by the bar area where they do the wine tastings, and were completely ignored. We planned on buying wine here, just as we did at all of the others we visited. I would not recommend this place because of the rude staff!

The Traveling Winers on Colorado Wine Trail Two Rivers winery was our very first stop on our Grand Junction — Palisades, CO wine trail. And what a first impression it made! The first thought that popped into my mind was«Majestic» — a huge estate with several stone houses and buildings, left me wondering what was housed inside of each. The tasting room was just as Majestic on the inside, stone everywhere, a very large tasting bar, plenty of space to shop and relax, a stone fireplace and a fun staff to boot! Lois, our tasting room host, lead us through the tasting in“Majestic” fashion(in other words, she did a great job!) and we got to spend a fair amount of time with one of the owners, Billie. As we were enjoying the outside landscape we were joined by Billie who gave us a personal tour of their beautiful Château. This vineyard & winery is definitely worth a visit and, if you have need of lodging, would be a wonderful place to lay your head! The Traveling Winers at The Vineyard Trail

For a Colorado winery, this has to be the king of the hill in the Grand Junction area.

Lovely last minute stay here. Nice complimentary wine tasting in the late afternoon. Gorgeous setting at the base of the Colorado National Monument, quiet yet only minutes from cute downtown Grand Junction. Our room(Burgundy) was large and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. My only complaint was breakfast. The hot dish, an egg casserole, had ham in it, and I don’t rat meat. This left me with granola and a hard boiled egg, and some toast from store-bought bread. I expected more on the breakfast front here.

Stopped here with my girlfriend on the last day of a recent road trip, and I’m definitely glad we did. The setting is definitely beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the wine is top-notch. This place stands up to any winery I’ve ever visited in California. Highly recommended.

The boyfriend and I stopped at Two Rivers a couple of years ago for some wine tasting while visiting his family. I haven’t had wine from very many Grand Junction wineries, but the wine here was fantastic– as in, could-be-from-Sonoma good, not just good-for-Colorado-they’re-getting-there good. Both the chardonnay and the cabernet were stand-outs. It was pretty empty on the Saturday or Sunday afternoon we visiting, but service was friendly and not at all rushed. On top of that, the grounds– nestled against the Colorado National Monument– are beautiful, as are the buildings themselves. If you’re in Grand Junction, definitely give this place a try. Actually, make a special trip to Grand Junction to give this place a try. It’s that good.
