Applebee’s

Bar is very loud and obnoxious later in the evening. The food is nothing special. Service is really spotty. It’s an Applebee’s – what do you want? Go to a good place if you want good food. Not a watered-​down chain.

Place gets a little sketchy/​obnoxious after a certain point. People yelling/​debating and such at the bar. Not the biggest deal. I just want a shot and a beer and go home. It’s on my way from work and «stays open until 2am.» Well that’s not really the case. Twice I’ve come here just after 1am (when I get off from my service industry job) and they’ve already done last call. BEFORE 1:15??? I came in with my girlfriend and we were greeted with «hey guys, we’ve already done last call for alcohol.» It was 1:13 am. The way the manager said it screamed of, ‘please leave, no more people’. No offer of dining room or any alternatives.
Food is what you expect and service is always good with Alexander. Haven’t had a decent server/​bartender other than him. Go to The Highlands and enjoy a bar that does last call at 1:45.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I went in to eat with a bunch of my friends a couple days ago and we had Calina as our server. Not friendly at all, took forever to get our drinks, as well as forever to get our food. And when our food did arrive, she couldn’t remember who ordered what. Add on top of that, she got our food order completely wrong. I usually love this Applebees but will now not be coming back. Horrible service drives customers away. Management needs to find better servers!!!

Took us well over an hour to get our food. After we finally did get food it was subpar at best. The restroom was a MESS with two of the three stalls out of toilet tissue. Will NOT be going back.

The server we had did not present himself well. He had an «I don’t care» and «I’m uninterested attitude.» He took our drink order and came back for our appetizer order; however, he waited almost 15 more minutes to come take our menu order. We never received our appetizer. He actually never made it back to our table to take our order. The 15 minutes is the time we gave him before we got up and left. They have staffing issues and they show badly. They should have prepared for an impact on Veterans Day.

Second time to come to this location… both times staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional! Also both times we were not greeted by a hostess and had to wait awhile to be acknowledged and taken to a table. Food was not that great. I frequent another Applebees in my hometown and never an issue there. Definitely would not recommend our be back!

My experience with this Applebee’s almost always leaves me desiring more or running me out.
I have had pleasant experience’s here before. The food was good and the atmosphere ok. I have also had to get up and walk out.
The music is often way to loud, the bartenders lack of attendance to his customers is displeasing. The music is also not right for the neighborhood or patrons.
Rap music is not what the patrons want to hear. I hope this restaurant is not trying to destroy the family atmosphere it once had.
This place needs a visit from corporate headquarters. The staff may be having fun, but the patrons are not and the ones that used to be regulars have been run off.
Patron beware. You never know what your walking into in this place..

After a few bad visits to this Applebee’s I’m ready to say the service here is pretty awful. The staff is extremely inattentive to small things, such as refills, and never seem to be around when you need them. Something as simple as dropping off our check, which we had to get up to ask for, took about 10 minutes despite the fact it was only a Tuesday night and not very busy.
This is not the first time I have had bad experiences at this Applebee’s but it is undoubtedly going to be my last.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. After being seated by the worst foul mouth guests… Mind you, my Husband and I visited this horrible restaurant with our 4 year old. We endured it only because I kept our Daughter busy with her play doh and I’m a strong believer that to each it’s own. But come on! Do you kiss your Mother with that mouth? Seriously… The Manager there could care less of what was happening. Then there was the ladies restroom. OMG, THE RESTROOM! Blood inside one of the restroom stalls. It was too graphic to post a picture. Use your imagination. Disgusting!!! And let’s not talk about the unwelcoming and lazy staff. Needless to say next time I’m exhausted from work I WON’T BE VISITING THIS ESTABLISHMENT. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE… I will be calling their corporate office this morning. This Applebee’s needs to be shut down for good.

After a bad experience at an Applebee’s a few years ago, I gave up on the place. In fact, the only reason I ever went to Applebee’s in the first place was with friends. Recently a group of friends wanted to go out for drinks on a Friday night and Applebee’s came up as a recommendation. My expectations, based on previous experiences, were quite low – nonexistent if I’m being completely honest.
We walked in, were taken to a table for 6, and our server was there pretty quickly. We ordered a round of jello shots and then cocktails as well. The jello shots were a dollar, not bad. The drinks were decent prices too.
While I wouldn’t choose to go to Applebee’s on my own, I’ll return to this location (and this location only) for a few late night drinks and appetizers at a friend’s request.

By far the worst experience I have ever had at any sort of restaurant ever. I had told my roommate that I had stopped going to Applebee’s a couple years ago due to the fact that the one in my hometown was not exactly the best place to go in town. So he suggested that I should give it a second try tonight since there were new menu items and there was a new feel to it.
We pulled up and I got slightly excited about trying it out again! Walked in, sat at the bar, and that’s where it began. The bar was beyond gross. There were glass racks on the floor, the bartender was uncaring and didn’t seem to pay attention to us over his coworkers. We ordered two beers and got ready to order. To say we were both excited about trying it out again was an understatement. We then hear the most horrific sound of a man throwing up so loudly that the entire restaurant went silent. The man then came out and turned out to be the Manager on duty. I was beyond appalled. What makes it worse is that it turned out to be a joke! Servers and bartenders were just laughing and giggling away! Then another server said to a lady sitting down the bar from us that he had thrown up in the hand washing sink in the kitchen! At this point I didn’t even want to pay for my beer that I had a sip out of, and my roommate and I had both come to the consensus that this Applebee’s was the epitome of an awful, God-​forsaken restaurant. We paid for our drinks (that we didn’t touch) and left. To say the least, I will never be back.

I don’t give poor ratings, because I work in the industry, but tonight was just unacceptable. The hosts were very friendly, & got us a table immediately, but that was where the timely service ended. We waited to be acknowledged, the server brought napkins to greet us, then left without getting our drink order. She FINALLY came back to get our drinks, & of course we were already ready to order. We waited 40 minutes, never got our appetizer, we asked about it, & she said she’d bring it out because it was back there… 10 minutes later (after we’re midway through our meal) we get it. The only good thing I can say, is that our order somehow was correct. Very unattentive service. Don’t sit in Yasmeen’s section!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. We got the usual friendly greeting at the door and was seated right away. Our waiter was there asking for our drink order before get were seated in the booth. We asked for a moment and that’s where we went wrong. After that our waiters visits to the table were few and far between.
Dang…i just needed a minute to take of my coat. Lol.
As for the food. It was ok. It came out hot and relatively quickly after we placed our order.

I typically don’t go to AppleBees but we had a coupon so we decided to try it. The food was piping hot and the wait staff was very friendly.
I ordered something simple (chicken tenders plate). It was very tasty. There was about 8 tenders on the plate! Never thought there would be that many for a plate that only costs $ 10. The raspberry sweet tea was refreshing. This location is very clean and had a great staff. I would recommend!

I came here with my mom and son for a quick dinner, because I didn’t want to cook. It took 20 minutes to order, then I had to walk up to the counter to get a menu. Then when I finally did get my food, the order was messed up. I let the waitress know that my order was not accurate, and her response was «well did you order it like that?» After I did get the food, it was terrible. Bad, bad experience!!! I would not recommend this restaurant.

I ordered carry out. Very friendly staff when I called in my order and picked up. Leslie at the bar provided great customer service and was prompt in getting my order and paying out. Oriental chicken salad is my favorite! I’ll try dining in next time.

We came in on Sunday night with a party of 6. The restaurant had a few tables filled but not too many. We stood in the front awkwardly for longer than we should’ve until the hostess came and seated us. We then waited a little for our server to come after. She forgot one of our drinks later on, too. Not a big deal. She brought it out after we asked her for another.
THE FOOD: We ordered the queso banco for our appetizer, and the tiny cup of cheese had no chance. It was gone in 5 minutes. Not because it was that amazing, but because it was small and apparently everyone was hungry lol. I had one bite, and it wasn’t bad. I ordered the napa chicken with portobello and grilled onions that came with a side of potatoes, all of which I thought was pretty good. The steaks were ok. One of our orders came on a bed of rice that was so dry it was like it wasn’t even cooked yet. Because it wasn’t pleasant to eat at all, she told our server and asked for another order of rice, but it didn’t come out until the rest of us were about done with our plates. This one wasn’t much better either. After taking a few bites, she finally gave up on the rice and then gave half her chicken to her husband who didn’t finish it either. I didn’t try the wings, but everyone at the table seemed to enjoy them. Oh, and the strawberry quencher lemonade wasn’t shabby. Unfortunately, there weren’t free refills for it. What a shame.
Applebee’s does offer half off appetizers after 9 PM, which ends up being a pretty good deal, but I probably won’t be coming back to this location. I’ll get my chicken wonton tacos at the one on cooper instead.

I just want to start off by saying that Leslie is like the best waitress!!! She will take care of you like no ones business!!! But overall I enjoy coming here after a late night and enjoy some half priced appetizers and drinks! I enjoy coming here. The manager on duty (Patrick) tonight was great. We had a couple of questions/​concerns and he handled everything so well! I will definitely be coming back. Our food is always good and we always get good service, but again, Leslie is the best!

I had asked to have the table wiped down at which point the server sent over the person who greeted us. A woman who came over and wiped a third of the table knocked the salt and peper shakers on the floor followed this. As this wasn’t enough my date had to pick them up. I went to the restroom and wetted several paper towels and brought some dry ones to clean up the table. The serve came by once took my drink order then 10 minutes later got my dates. The food came out timely, and she seemed extremely busy… They must be very understaffed, as we ended up waiting 20 minutes for the bill.
The food was the proper temperature, and had good seasoning. Both my chicken and her fish were tasty, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. They failed to process our fried green beans so we never got to try that; at least it wasn’t on the bill.
