Kroger Food Stores

OK, I just got off the phone with one of the store managers (Mr. Brown). That conversation was lengthy and productive. It got some of my issues with the store handled, but I’m not giving 3 stars YET. I’ll edit and update this review when appropriate.
There are serious communication problems within the store that the manager promised to handle. One of the reasons I am writing this review is to give the management another incentive to handle this.
The fact that the management of the store has not given more than a cursory glance at the exterior first-​impression issues is disappointing. Now that I have pointed out that the customer looks at the whole of the exterior, not just the immediate store environment, this may change.
The handicap electric carts have been a major issue. I hope that today’s conversation leads to some real solutions to the problems.
Now, the positive points:
The overall pricing is a very good value. I can keep my grocery budget in line.
The meat department people are very responsive, courteous, and caring. I’ve always gotten what I needed from them.
The produce department works very, very hard at keeping things stocked and clean. Believe me, it’s noticed.
The central-​aisle stockers are aware of blocking sections of shelves, and work hard at making sure that customers can get access.
The cart boys are great about helping me load my car, are conscientious about getting the handicap electric carts back into the store, and are genuinely great people.

Wish I could give no stars!!! Im sooooo over this kroger store. Bought some hamburger meat to make burgers. Opened the meat to make patties and it smelled horrible. AGAIN… bought out of date meat. This is not the first time. Actually the 3^rd time in 3 months. Have bought chicken twice and ground beef today that were all bad. The chicken wasnt out of date so makes me wonder if they are keeping it cold before it hits the shelves. Called the store to tell them to check their meat before someone gets sick and the manager acts like this is a normal report. Saying that someone probably returned the meat and the stocker put it back on the shelf. Get it together kroger!!! Bad meat is no joke!!! Wal Mart it is from now on.

Old grouchy cashiers are a pain in the butt.
When I have a problem I got straight to the manager and he nice and always solves my problems

hope not all krogers are the same as this one. not one cart in the stalls! i went out to the parking lot to get my own. plenty of parking but this kroger isn’t maintained like it should be. whenver i use the self checkout it says, called attendant for one reason or another.
