Maurices

I wish I could review twice, for my service on every other occasion and then again on this one particular day. Every other time I have come in, I have had wonderful service. My mother has been coming here since this location opened. The girls here are the sweetest and they always help us out. But this past Saturday, We went in and noticed 2 new girls whom we’d never seen before. My mother has a credit card with Maurice’s and We bought 4 shirts and a bag and my mom noticed a shirt that She liked but didn’t buy it. We left and my mom really liked it so we went back so she could try it on. We had the bags we had just left with and we were trying on clothes and one of the girls came up to us and asked to take our bag ((with no explanation? I guess so she could search it?)). They meticulously searched our bag as if accusing us of stealing? I paid for my other 2 shirts and left. But the girl forgot to take off a security tag and was super excited to «catch a thief» but it was her mistake. They were rude and didn’t even apologize the mistake. My mother was so embarrassed and felt really mistreated by them. I hope they find better customer service.

The associates are so welcoming here and it makes for an enjoyable shopping trip. I live about 45 minutes away so I don’t go here very often. The first time I was here was about 4 months ago, and then again yesterday. Not only did the associate there when I arrived remember me, but she also helped me the entire time I was shopping. She was so friendly and helpful. She brought my clothes back to my dressing room four different times and hung them all up so that when I went to try them on they were laid out neatly.
The store is clean and well organized with great variety of items. They have a large jewelry section and had a boho event going on. I bought 8 items and earned a take 10 which is exciting. This is my favorite Maurices and can’t wait until they launch new styles so I can come back!
