This Place Is Is Awesome! The only thing would be get there early before the class starts because it gets very crowded. They do a lot of different things here from yoga to zumba.

I have been going to Remix for 2 years and am totally addicted! I drive all the way from downtown Fort Worth 2−4x a week. I have been to other zumba places and no other place can compare! Hands down the best workout. I burn an average 800 – 950 calories in 1 hour! GOTOREMIX!

My previous review focused on how great the Tuesday/Thursday night hip hop classes with Elka are. Well, those days are no more because Remix has decided to change their instructor line up and it no longer includes Elka, arguably their most talented instructor. As a result I will be taking my business elsewhere. Remix is too hot anyway. You shouldn’t feel at risk of heat stroke even when it’s 70 degrees outside.

I have been to other Zumba classes but this was the most fun I have ever had exercising. I love the combination of Zumba and Hip Hop. I know the standard Zumba moves but it was easy to follow along. The music was AWESOME! This place is a bit of drive for me but it won’t stop me from going at least once a week. The first paragraph of my previous review in June was all true but it only related to the Hip-hop zumba on Tuesday & Thursday nights. It was the most positive energetic vibe, but since they no longer employ Elka there is no other reason to go. I have been to other classes and the other instructors there is no positive vibe, just barking at you and getting in your face. I’m a grown woman I don’t need any yelling«I’m not tired» and when you keep the temperature at a constant 85 – 92 degrees you need to encourage people to drink water not yell«no one said take a break» it’s a real miracle no one has passed out from a heat stroke I’m sure many have suffered from heat exhaustion and just not realized it. Don’t get me wrong if you’re doing Zumba you’re going to sweat, but there is something wrong when you sweat the moment you walk in. Zumba is also supposed to be fun, it has been at every studio I have been to since. Other than hip hop it’s not fun at Remix it’s not fun to feel bullied and that is why I only attended the Tuesday and Thursday. I’m not a weak woman. I attend boot camp, ride my bicycle and do my own workouts at home so I’m not a stranger or afraid of hard work but I refuse to spend my money in a place where I don’t feel at peace when I leave. A good workout doesn’t mean you have to feel like you have been abused. Hey but if that’s your thing then Remix is the place for you.

I love Remix! It took me about a year of my sister asking me to join her that I finally took her up on it. I was taking Zumba classes at 24 hr. Fitness so I thought I was getting my workout on. It wasn’t until I took Teresa’s class at Remix that I realized I was no where near getting my workout on! I would have given them 4 stars because of the small space and tons of people in class but they are opening a larger facility a few doors down from this location and I’m banking on more room to shimmy! As of yesterday, Teresa added ab work and today I am sore… but I feel accomplished:) Come on, get your Zumba on!

This Dance Studio is all Zumba so far and I use to like Zumba, but now I love it with Teresa the instructor here. Her dance moves aren’t difficult and just fun to do with her play list that includes a lot of Pitbull. My only issue here is that it gets TOO hot most days and there isn’t childcare here, but kids roam around or try to dance… and while it’s cute, they’re kinda in the way and I’ve had to dance half a**ed because I didn’t want to hurt them. Overall I recommend anyone to try it out.
