I really liked this restaurant! The customer service was great and the restaurant is very clean! My mom and I took our food to-go, so the pictures I posted are in to-go boxes. The tamales are pretty good and it looks like they make Christmas orders. The flautas were a little bland, but the rice and beans are delicious! The chips and salsa are very delicious!

Small place in Grand Prairie that you will love that you found! Delicious breakfast and salsa. So glad a co worker of mine showed me this place. Go support small businesses!

Awesome food! Love this hidden restaurant. We go every Sunday, never been disappointed. This great little place, should expand! Hope it doesn’t change.

This is a must stop when I’m in good olé GP. Good food and always made fresh. Corn tortillas are great. Verde salsa is the BEST. Chorizo, egg, and cheese on corn is my go to.

I’ve lived in the Grand Prairie area for awhile and I was thrilled to find this place. I grew up eating at the best bakery(see my La Popular post) and have had a hard time finding something comparable. Rodriguez Bakery is great and fills that void for me. I love getting their breakfast burritos and their fresh bread. Service isn’t super fast but everything always tastes fresh and comes out hot. I’m not a fluent Spanish speaker and I don’t get crazy looks for ordering in English(if you are brown and aren’t fluent in Texas you’ll understand lol) They same lady has taken my order every time and has been nothing but sweet and helpful. The best part are the fresh tortillas. When we moved here everyone recommended a different bakery(rhymes with barquez) that is only mere minutes from my home but they’re tortillas are premade and taste terrible in my opinion. I definitely recommend a visit to Rodriguez, definitely authentic and all around good food.

I go here with my family often and every time the food is amazing. I have ordered the chicken flautas every time and they are the best I have ever had at a restaurant. No joke! My grandma, Tia, & I all order the chicken flautas because they are so good. I have picked off my boyfriend’s plate every time and his food is always good too. The carnitas are not dry and have a lot of flavor. The pan dulce is also amazing. My favorite Empanada is the pumpkin one but they have a variety to choose from. Great place, I recommend it!

Customer service was poor. There was miscommunication between the lady taking orders and the kitchen. Our order was completely skipped. It was 50 minutes of wait time. We ran out of time(we were on lunch break from work), so we had to take our food to go. When they finally gave us our food to go, it was incomplet(pozole — no tortilla and cabbage; tacos-no rice and beans). When we told them it was incomplete, they were rude. We asked if there could be a compensation for lost time. They said they could give us a refund but that they would take the food back. Poor customer service. We will not return here.

This place was awesome. We usually drive to Fort Worth for some good mexican breakfast but we tried here and it is now our go to place. Very busy for a reason. Fresh homemade tortillas and baked goods. Perfect

I’m a torta lover and have ordered this about 5 times. It’s pretty big and comes with a nice amount of fries. Taste really fresh and tasty! I’ve also shopped there bakery which has all your common pan dulce!
