Sonic Drive In

This Sonic always provides quick and kind service. This is the best Sonic in the area I live. My son and I went for slushes yesterday and I barely had time to get my money out before a friendly car hop was delivering my order. Our orders are always correct and the service is always terrific!!!

Found a fucking fingernail in my cherry lime slush!!! I ordered extra cherries so me thinking it’s part of the cherry stem I chewed on it. It was so hard. I’m absolutely disgusted! Who knows if the person who made it scratched their ass today or their balls!!!

This location is HORRIBLE. When I ask anyone what Sonic is known for, the one thing that is constant is the ICE!!! I lOVE the ice, when I say that I can go thru a Route 44, water or Soda with extra ice IN AN HOUR, I am not joking I get one on my way to work, get one at lunch, sometimes I get one mid afternoon and always get one when leaving the office for the day. I buy a bag of ice 2 – 3 times a day for the 2 of us in the office. The problem I am having is over the last month to month ½ the Sonic on North hwy 360 at Post and Paddock doesn’t have the fabulous Sonic Ice, they use Store bought Redi ice. I don’t understand this, it’s your signature item. Yet you don’t have it it. I am a customer that tips very well, very Patient when it takes me 10 plus minutes to get a drink. I have called the store asking if they have it and told yes. Go to the store order my drink and there is no Sonic Ice!!! Come on get it together. Either fix your machine or be honest with your customers. You have competition, if I have to I can go across the street to Chicken Express and get the drink there. SONIC ICE IS THE BEST UNLESS YOU GO TO THE ONE ON NORTH HWY 360 AT POST AND PADDOCK, BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE IT!!!

First the drive thru speaker/​mic seems to not function properly. I had to repeat my order three times and heard nothing from the worker on the other end. I waited a little while before going up to the window and as I drive off she says one moment ma’am. I get to the window and she is talking to her coworkers and looking at her personal iPhone. The manager and other workers are just standing there chatting with her. She comes to the window (finally) and asks me to repeat my order. I have been waiting 7 plus minutes for 4 dessert items. Love Sonic but this location is lacking in customer service and a simple rule of not being on your personal phone while getting paid.

I have never had such quick service at a sonic bedore! Also the food was fresh and quite good! Usually I expect fast food to be just edible, but this was a good!

Went here just for ice cream. It wasn’t very busy so we ordered right away at the window. Once we got to the window we sat there for about 10 minutes. We weren’t greeted, asked to wait, told they were having problems, etc. They just let us sit there for 10 minutes wondering what was going on. When they finally greeted us the girl very rudely said swipe your card there and then after the second time of not working she said give me your card. When she brought the card back to us she did not offer a receipt. While the stuff we got was descent the service was crappy. I’m being generous with the two stars.

Stopped here with my wife while waiting to pick somebody up at the airport. Hot dogs looked good so we tried them. Asked for extra saurkraut but instead there was such a thin layer it didn’t even come close to looking like the picture. Asked the car hop about it and she said she told the cook twice but this was it. So without asking her further she went right on in and came out with a cup of saurkraut to make us happy. Nice girl, bad cook. Gave her 5 buck tip for struggling with the cook. If the hot dog was a buck like ⁷⁄₁₁ or a gas station I wouldn’t bother writing this but they are not cheap and not as good. By the way the 2^nd star was for the effort of the young lady waiting on us otherwise it would have been one star.

I would give a ‘normal’ Sonic three stars, but this location is the worst I’ve eaten at. The food is undercooked and the drinks taste like grease. One time I asked for extra sauce and they must have poured a cup on the burger — which ruined it. They’ve left the cheese off my cheeseburger. Service is super slow-​even when there are only a few other customers. I guess this place stays in business because of the location on the service road of 360.
If you need a Sonic fix, head west on Green Oaks (near Collins) and eat at that location. Alternately, there is a location on Lamar near Ball Park way that is good. The location in Euless, on Main Street, just north of 183 is good too. The onion rings there are the best I’ve had at a Sonic.

Great for the 2 pm — 4 pm drink ‘happy hour’ where every beverage is half-​price, but not much else.
Though, if you are looking to destroy your body and gain 4 pounds, they do have some pretty darn good fast food.

I love Sonic, but not this location. They mess up the order every time and the limeades never taste right. Unless you are dying of thirst or hunger, don’t go to this location.

Fast Food
Came down to Dallas, for a friend’s wedding, a whole bunch of us. We were hungry and decided to head out and see what we could find to eat. After driving around and finding that there were ALOT of Sonics around we decided what the heck, we’ll try it, since I’ve seen plenty commercials in NYC advertising Sonic and they don’t exist up in the Northeast!
So I ordered a nice burger and some tater tots, and my friends ordered a mixture of everything else on the menu. What’s the verdict? It is GOOD! I know I’m jsut comparing my experience from all the other fast food places that I’ve ever had, and I’m sure if I was a native Texan, I wouldn’t really appreciate Sonic as much, but the food here was very good for a fast food place. It is much better than McDonalds, and where can you find a place with tater tots on the menu? Their shakes are also good too if you want a nice frosty drink.
Everytime I crave tater tots and a shake, I think Sonic… too bad they don’t exist in the northeast.
