Worse fajita tacos I ever had. Very disappointed. The meat didn’t look like fajita meat, look like cheap steak. I don’t mind paying for good food, but these tacos are over priced and taste bad. I would recommend going to Ranchero in Irving TX off of Story Rd. Tacos are cheaper and are very delicious.

Ive been coming here for years now, the tortas were the best ive had, but now ive found better tortas at El atoron down the street. I still come here to get their Pastor or Fajita Masa quesadillas. do yourself a favor and get one!

This is a great place if you’re craving real, authentic Mexican food! Their Tortas and quesadillas are amazing! This is definitely hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Grand Prairie!

I forgot to see how many reviewers reviewed this place before going there. Now the four and a half stars make sense, there were only two reviews. I will never eat here again. I got as sick as IHOP makes me. Very sick! So we really wanted tortas and this just happened to be in the vicinity we were at that time. Service was not great, we were not greeted, not even when it was our turn at the registered. The girl who took our order was as excited as I was about my phone restarting on its own while I’m trying to get driving directions. So we had tortas, basic no special instructions, just wanted to see what they do with something so basic.. This torta is much greaser than other tortas I’ve had, and I’m just talking about holding it. I so wanted a fork now, but that is just not right. Ingredients were ham, beans, cheese(it was not melted, it was slices, it wasn’t queso fresco), lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños(I didn’t mind that they were already in there), and … A Whole Lotta Mayo! A lot! For every bite, it squeezed out at the corners of my mouth, now it was all over my super greasy fingers. I wasn’t even done with the first half when I felt it… stomach discomfort. So I finished the first half and starred at the other. I quickly gurgled down my agua de piña in hopes it would put out the inferno in my stomach but it was all in vain. Why did I do that to myself? I’m sorry stomach.

I’ve been going to El Jacalito when they were just a small place and it was only pick up. Now they have a bigger sit down place. While the place isn’t modern and all that nice inside their food is amazing. Tortas are always great. My favorite things to order are the Huarache and the quesadillas. Their Aguas Frescas are great too! This isn’t Tex-Mex. This is real Mexican food that uses real Mexican sour cream and Cotija cheese! Yummy. This is definitely a go to of mine whenever I’m back in GP.
