Food was amazing, food came out in a timely manner. eventhough we were 25+ putting in orders around the same time with the EatGr group.

Fantastic Eurocafe and market that serves Albanian Bosnian style cuisine. Go here and you feel like you’re on vacation, no longer in the US. Best espresso around, I make sure to get one or two double short pours every time I visit. Each item on the menu is full of flavor and character. The staff is kind, patent and generous. There is always several people that seem to be part of the family hanging at the bar or in and outside the restaurant. It has a mob family feeling to it, in a good way! Be sure to visit the market on your way out to discover several very interesting items. You will also see some of the family working in the back preparing and processing foods. Enough cannot be said about how amazing the food is. I highly recommend the bruschetta with prosciutto paired with their unique homemade tomato soup, makes for a delicious lunch. The goulash is extremely satisfying as is the sauté stroganoff, neither are of the typical American style. The japrak is very good as well, reminds me of my passion for polish golimpki. The Greek salad is very good however I was a bit surprised when it came out without any salad but rather all laid out in a beautiful display of fresh vegetables. It was very good and really hit the spot on a warm summer day. Comfortable seating, intimate but lively. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants great food and a memorable experience.

I was on my way to Panera and decided to stop in here instead. The atmosphere Is like a quiet comfortable european café. I ordered fresh veg soup and bruschetta. Both were delicious and made from scratch. The bread was from the bakery. The service was friendly and quick. I didnt have time to check out the grocery but I’ll be back.

This was an interesting experience. It is a Europian restaurant with a Bosnian flair. It was very clean. I ordered the Goulash expecting what I am used to and got something much diffrent from American Goulash. Instead of beef or Italian Sausage mixed with noodles in a pasta sauce. You get chunks of very good beef next to mashed potatoes with a yummy gravy on top. Not what I think of when I hear Goulash but my stomach was VERY happy. I will be back. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the service was not good. Maybe it was because I was there at 2 pm who knows. Staff was very friendly just slow to service.

Best meal in Grand Rapids. its similar to Greek food and has a dish called burek, It has fresh ground beef and home made bread cooked fresh every day. This tastes like a spanocopita and it has lots of spices and herbs. The fresh bread is made of crisp phyllo. They also have a awesome Greek salad. I hope you enjoy this restaurant

This is a sit down restaurant, with an extensive menu of European food, that seats 40 or so — not a market — that is next door Brand new interior and seating inside. Located just up the road from Shanghai Ichiban on 29th Street near the Beltline. Get the cevapi sandwich.(If you don’t know Bosnian food, this tastes like Greek Gyros) Hand made cevapi links on toasted homemade roll– grilled to perfection and served with ajvar sauce. Pair it with a Slovenian sparkling water or a lemon soda from Croatia. The also have brusceta, chicken, goulash, schnitzel, homemade soups etc. All family recipes from Eastern Europe. The Greek salads here are the best in town. If you travel to Europe and miss a proper cappuccino or espresso, this place has it. They use a great bean from Italy. The meal is so inexpensive given the high quality. Very family friendly place also. The owners are often working and give great, friendly service. Check out the euro grocery next store with fresh bread, smoked meats and awesome sauces, jams, candy, and chocolates from Europe. As a life long resident of GR, I am so glad we now have places like Al Bos. My Greek friends can’t get enough of this place; neither can I.

Great place with very good and authentic food. The food market next to the restaurant is also great. If you like roasted lamb then drop by on Sunday when fresh lamb is cooked.

Great restaurant! Food Is very similar to Greek or lebanese. Many wonderful soups with homemade noodles and mico-herbs. The salads are outstanding with cucumbers, tomatoes and crumbled feta drizzled with a red wine vinaigrette. The entrees also don’t disappoint, with a amazing dish called chivapi with sausage and the most amazing bread I’ve had in my entire life! Its a shame more people don’t know about this hidden gem! The desserts also look quite good. My brother swears by them all. A overall outstanding restaurant with a few tvs playing sports.
