Corrigan Moving Sys. -Grand Rapids

Very helpful and professional. Quick to respond to my emails, even on a Saturday. Smooth pick up and was updated constantly which helped me know what was going on throughout my whole moving process from Florida to Michigan. There was no stupid question when I asked about something and was answered in detail. I would definitely use them again in my future moves. The mover who dropped off my stuff misplaced a bike part and the management was very quick on keeping tabs on it and making sure I got the bike part back in mint condition. Very happy with the company.

We did 3 moves with Corrigan in the last 6 months and for the most part it was all done very professionally and went very well. On the last move to Florida we encountered some issues with overage charges and in talking with my salesperson, we finally worked things out. I would definitely use them again in the future. Just be sure that if it is an intrastate move that they actually do weigh the goods. That would have solved a lot of issues for the future.

We recently used Corrigan Moving Systems for a long distance move. I had heard horror stories about movers so was leary about the whole process. However, it went very well. The rep who came and did the estimate was pleasant, professional, and thorough. The cost he quoted us was what we paid — it didn’t change after everything was set. We had them do the packing and the packers were friendly and professional. It was done quickly and there was one small item broken in the move. The loading crew was also friendly and didn’t waste any time. Our only problem was that we didn’t get our furniture until 3 weeks after we moved. This was partly our fault as we originally thought we would have to go to storage until we could get into a house, but were able to get in much sooner than we though. Since we had already scheduled belongings to go to storage (and we didn’t have a full truck with our stuff), we had to wait until another load was coming our way. Once it came it was unloaded, put together and we had no complaints about how any of it was handled. I would recommend Corrigan Moving Company.

Corrigan Moving Systems relocated us from PA to CA. What started out as a positive relationship went completely south when the company never scheduled packers to move us. Given the six week notice why this happened is still a mystery. Upon our relocation to CA part of our items went into storage. Needless to say, some items did not get stored that should have and other items needed for the temporary apartment got placed in storage and should not have. Of course Corrigan took zero responsibility for the mix up!
After receiving our items a few minor things were damaged. We purchased expensive insurance with 100% replacement cost. Be wary of this as there are many loopholes all in favor of the moving company. Again, Corrigan played the blame game and tried to blame the local storage facility for damages. Corrigan sent a local repairman to fix the items which took him three weeks to complete even though he was suppose to complete them the day he came to our home. When he finally came to our home he told us he could not repair the dining table because he was retiring right after he left our house — say what!
Of course Corrigan had a million and one excused why this happened all of which was not their fault.
Sadly, would never recommend or use this company ever!
