I went to forever ink with an idea of what i wanted and the artist morro took what was in my head and made it so much better than i could’ve imagined. The place was very clean. And everyone was very friendly. I had no appointment and was lucky enough to be there shortly after one was canceled and got right in. I definitely won’t go anywhere else again.

Really impressed by the work, the artist was very detail orientated and getting it perfect was as important to him as it was to me. I really wanted to get my combat related tattoo on Veteran’s Day and they were honored to accommodate. I highly recommend this place!

the reason i looked at Forever Ink was when my son told me how Chris (owner) was helping out the community at a local event at John Ball park. I figured if this guy cares about his community to the point that he runs his own bids up and then donates the item back to auction it off again (to his own highly inflated bid) then maybe he is worth his salt with a needle… was he ever!!! I gave him a family minted coin with our crest on it and he made it appear on my arm as beautiful as the minted metal. would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone… go check them out it’ll be worth the trip.

I think this place gets a bad rep for its location, but my experience (s) were very good. I had 2 sessions with Peto, who was excellent. i cannot speak to the other artists, but she was skillful, gentle, and artistic. She did some lettering for me which was simple and showed that she could do a tattoo that involved basically just doing what you are asked. I came back a few months later (albiet to the short-​lived Kentwood location) and had her do another piece. This one was more involved and I showed her some inspirations and told her my ideas. She got right to sketching when I arrived for my appointment and came up with some great drawings. Her talent is awesome.
Overall it was clean and I had a great experience. Don’t let the Leonard location scare you too much.

Do not bother looking anywhere else. You will be overcharged and will not find true quality that goes back to the roots of the tattoo. They are definately the première shop in Grand Rapids, by a looooooong shot.
