GrandLAN is the one-stop geek’s paradise. For the gamer, they have tons of high-end computers available for gaming or surfing($ 2/hour until 2009), console games(Wii, PS3, SBox 360), a wide variety of games for all those systems. If you’d rather bring your own computer and play online, high-speed Wi-Fi/Ethernet connections are only $ 1/hour until 2009. My friends and I play WoW here because the bandwidth is so much better than our home DSL/Cable. In addition to gaming, they also have a great selection of comics/graphic novels, P&P RPG books, miniatures, collectibles, and trading cards a la Magic, etc. There are also tables and other facilities set up for play and play is encouraged(and pretty much free, unless you count pop and snacks). Finally, the staff here is the best. Most of the people that work here are fellow gamers that love the place and just hang out until they get hired. They are often seen playing games with friends or on the ‘net, but never hesitate to help you when they’re needed. They’re also very knowledgeable about everything the store offers. Check this place out, they’re open until midnight every night.
