I have a cracked, stained concrete step at the front of my home. Kent Home Services was recommended to me by a builder who assured me they did fantastic work. KHS simply gave me a bid on the work but never actually talked with me about it. We signed the bid and they performed the work. That is where the problem started… they used off-white caulk on the crack(the concrete is red) which extends the entire width of the step and proceeded to punch two holes in the step to fill it with concrete to level the step out. They never stained the new holes that they created and the caulk looks like it was applied by a two year old. It looks glaringly awful. The builder who recommended them is astonished at how bad the step looks. I have told KHS repeatedly that no one should have competed this work knowing how terrible it was going to look. I have told them as an expert in this field and as a professional company, they simply should have notified me how awful their finished process was going to look and we could have come up with a more agreeable solution. They have told me they did not need to do that and it was my responsibility to look«on the internet» to find pictures of the work so I could be informed. I am absolutely livid! This looks so terrible and we are going to need to readdress our entire front concrete entrance. KHS simply took my money and could care less about their extremely shoddy workmanship. I would never recommend them to perform any concrete work of any level.
