Beautiful pieces, great selection, and they’re always running an awesome promotion. Every time I walk in there I have to stop myself from buying a million things, it all would fit so well in my house!

Klingman’s is a Grand Rapids furniture institution! Its current incarnation is on the retail and chain-heavy 28th St near the E Beltline. The storefront is pretty generic, but once inside, Klingman’s has a very nice and expansive showroom, catering to a wide array of styles and price points. We had a pleasant and polite sales associate helping us and ultimately purchased a mattress/box spring while browsing for other furniture. I really would have liked to see clear labeling of the products that are Michigan and locally manufactured and assembled, as that would help in our commitment to support local industry. The time between order and delivery was longer than expected by over a week. The delivery experience itself was on-time, professional, and speedy. We will definitely be back.

First, I LOVE furniture so I have visited all the other furniture stores in GR! I really like Klingman’s because of the variety of prices(high end mixed with more affordable), their staff is really cool especially the Interior Designers. I am no designer so it is nice to get an outside perspective of the styles I want & ones I really shouldn’t want. I recently tried to go more American made with my items, so that is another plus that they have US& locally made furniture. The only thing I think could be better is the layout of the store it is just a little crowded, lots of furniture to look at but your ADD goes crazy. I am a loyal customer now since they moved closer to Cascade(by my home).

Terrible experience. Poor customer service-hard to get a hold of management. Had problem with item purchased– could not get a manger to call back/respond to emails for over 3 months. Unprofessional staff. Very frustrating experience. Explains why they went out of business twice. Beware !!!

Rising from the ashes of the defunct Rogers Department Store, this furniture store is one of the finest on this side of the city. Possibly one of the largest and most diverse on this side of the nation. It has several floors of furniture on display. Even has a play area for the kids while you shop. But come with a full wallet, this is no Ikea.
