I feel a bit odd typing this as a 6’236 year old man, but: this place is straight up adorbs. Legit delicious and carefully crafted deserts at less than the price of a frozen food-service dessert at a typical restaurant – and a small fraction of the price of a place like Martha’s. True to its name, it reminds me of a French or Italian pastry shop without the language barrier or airline ticket. The atmosphere is very casual but clean, a bit modern even. There is attention to small details, the plates, coasters, glasses were all carefully thought about. Great prices on whole cakes too, I can’t wait to return to try something new. Looks like they have café-style lunch faire as well, which I’m also anxious to try. Not what you’d expect for central 28th street, in a good and surprising way. Get over there!

I stopped here for dessert one afternoon with my sister. They had a case full of choices, all I believe homemade. There were a few more Balkan style items, including a «Bosnian apple pie,» though I’m unclear on what makes it specifically«Bosnian.» After asking a series of questions about what was good and what ingredients were contained in certain desserts, I placed my order. I tried three different items, chiefly because their desserts seem sized and priced with the intention of allowing customers to try a variety of sweets. My bill came out to about $ 7, which is what any one dessert at a more typical restaurant would run. I tried the coconut roll, the jaffa cake, and the chocolate cheesecake. I wasn’t overly wowed by any of the three, though none were bad, and I do appreciate them making some more unusual options(like the jaffa cake, made with jaffa cookies).

Love this place! Great ambiance, delicious desserts, and friendly staff. Also great for hosting small parties. We had my nephew’s wife’s bridal shower there. The food and cake– absolutely amazing!

A wonderful café with good food, coffee, soups and desserts. Clean, quaint and European In feel. We shared the spinach pita, had cups of soup, coffee and the Boem cake. All were high quality. The spinach pita is a fluffy bread filled with spinach, cheese and egg. Soups were yummy too. The Boem cake is a thin layered chocolate cake and had a light flavor for such a densely layered piece. Amazing! They serve Lavazza coffee and their cake selection is not to be missed! I will definitely be back for lunch and to try more cakes!

After lunch at nearby Le Kabob, my friends and I stopped here for dessert. Wow, stepping in the door, I immediately felt like I was transported to Central or Eastern Europe! What a great café — I could totally see myself nursing a cup of coffee here on a rainy Saturday afternoon. As someone who avoids gluten, however, there really weren’t many options for me. I did, however, pick up several desserts for family — and they raved it was all delicious. Service was very sincere and friendly. I’ll definitely be back when I am in GR!

This place has a nice atmosphere for lunch. The desserts are to die for! The lunch selection is pretty small. There should be something to order other than soup or a build your own panini. But the panini’s are good and affordable!

Years ago I stumbled onto the Paris Café when they were on 44th St. They’ve been a favorite ever since. I’ve never eaten in the café, but love to stop and pick up a few desserts now and then. Over the years we’ve tried just about everything. Its hard to chose when we go in because everything is so good. Prices are reasonable for desserts that are clearly made with care.

I had been meaning to try this place for years and finally got around to it. Oh my why did I wait so long??? It is an absolutely charming café with a lovely ambiance and pleasant staff. The dessert case is breathtaking and packed full with baked goodies and traditional Bosnian desserts. Their savory menu is a little more hidden but when found offers a good variety. I ordered the spinach pita(it is homemade) and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Do mot be daunted by the soup prices the«cup» is more like a bowl and a «bowl» is like a vat of soup! It was delicious. The desserts blew me away the tiramisu, the marshmallow, the rum cake and oh the special tumblas were divine. All was washed down with a Turkish coffee presented delightfully on a silver tray.

Great place to go for desert with friends, to chat after a movie, or a casual date. I even go in to pick up a few deserts to take home. Love the baklava and napoleons, as well as the coffee. They don’t have a huge dining area, but it seems to be enough every time I visit.

Amazing desserts. My husband and I stopped here because I was in desperate need for a coffee. We ended up both ordering desserts and I had my first Turkish coffee which has was amazing. The prices are very reasonable and the service was friendly.

This is a good place for deserts or for ordering an individualized birthday cake. Coffee is good; the almond banana cake I had was pretty good. Very reasonable prices. Two mochas and two deserts would run you around 10 bucks. Not bad at all. It is also casual hangout place but be prepared to tolerate the baking smell if you are planning to spend a little time than just grabbing a cup of coffee and leave.

Nice bosnian café shop! Delicious cakes, pastries, espresso, bosnian cuisine and turkish coffee! I just wish they had longer hours in summer– esp on the weekends! It’d be a perfect spot to stop by for a cup of coffee before we head downtown! :) Also, please play bosnian music in the background! Hvala! Stop by, check ‘em out! You wont be dissapointed! Ćao!
