This gym is fairly new – maybe a year old if that, so everything is nice and clean and new. Bathrooms/locker rooms aren’t gross. It varies greatly on whether it is busy or not. We have been consistently going twice a week and it always varies. We like it for the 30 minute circuit where you switch from cardio to weights every few minutes and you get a full body work out in! For $ 10/month, it’s a great gym or you can bump up to $ 20/month and get unlimited tanning and massage chairs and get to bring a friend with you whenever you want!

Good quality gym overall. Not overcrowded and in good condition. Lots of cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights, benches. The barbells and ez curl bars do not have weight over 60 lbs available though and there is no non-smith machine squat rack. Suggestion for improvement is the membership terms are a little inflexible(all changes must be done in person and you can’t do anything over the phone, which can be an issue if you’re traveling). This can be an issue if you travel a lot and want to make a change while out of town(some of the membership options allow use of all locations in USA and Canada). Otherwise, great variety of equipment.

DONOTGIVETHISCOMPANYYOUREFT!!! ITS A VERYBADIDEABUTITSTHEONLYWAYTHEYALLOWYOUTOPAY!!! We signed up on a promotion earlier this year and decided it wasn’t worth the $ 10 per month after a few months. The terms of the promotion were no cancellation fee’s and when I went in to cancel they tried to charge me $ 50. After I cancelled they still charged us a second $ 29 «annual fee» and two more months worth of membership. I called about the issue and have not gotten much help. I am still trying to get this resolved. The only way you can pay for your membership is to give them EFT on your checking account which I didn’t like from day one. We won’t be going back to Planet Fitness and don’t recommend it. UPDATE9÷22÷15 Since my first review things have only gotten worse. I’ve called the store multiple times trying to reach someone who can help me. I would leave a message each time and was promised a manager would call me right back. So far no manager has ever called. I even went in the store last week and had a conversation with a staff member to no avail. We have since been charged another monthly fee. Today I called and was fortunate enough to finally talk to the store manager. She was completely unaware of the situation which was very surprising. I explained the situation again and she seemed stumped. Finally we figured out that they had charged me because they had my wife’s name and said she had an account. The only problem is that my wife never went in the store to sign up. I started the process for her but she never went in and signed the waiver, the EFT approval or gave them a copy of her driver license. So how she«had an account» is baffling. This lousy company still hasn’t given me my money back and it’s looking like a lawyer will be calling next.
