A visit to Robinettes is mandatory in the autumn season. I’ve only been to purchase cider and donuts which are always fresh, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. My most recent time going was on a weekday when there were just a handful of others. I ordered a dozen donuts for $ 8 and a cup of hot cider for $ 2, worth every cent. The service was friendly and accommodating. If you’re in the Grand Rapids area and need your fall fix, look no further!

I stopped here on my way through town just to see what all the hubbub was about. It was close to closing time, so there weren’t many people there. I walked into the store, and was greeted with some awesome smells– pumpkin and apple donuts, cider, pies… and fresh produce as well. I ended up buying a couple of jars of pickles, a bag of apples and some peaches. The peaches where the fo-shizzle! If you buy peaches here, you will never buy peaches from the supermarket again. These peaches have serious flavor, and they just peeled right off the pit. Super juicy goodness. I was actually upset when they were gone because I live too far away to just get more. :( It looks like a fun place to take kiddos, as there were cute little play areas set up and other little fun buildings to explore. An older lady in front of me in line said she has gone here for years and just loves it. It’s just a cute little fun place. Stop here for some fresh cider, fruits and veggies and homemade goodies. You can’t go wrong.

Robinette’s is so cute! They are great for adults and kids alike, even large groups! I’ve been a few times now in the summer for the wine tasting and a donut! When you walk up to the entrance, there are 2 main buildings. The building on left is a little café that sells sandwiches, cider, coffee, and donuts! They also have a small market area that sells bread, jams, popcorn, and other food items. The donuts and fresh cider are delicious! The building on the right has a store at the top filled with great gift items like candles, clothing, magnets, and other tchotchkes! They do sell several made in Michigan items! There is a room that you can rent for parties too! The lower entrance to the building leads you into another small gift shop that sells wine & beer paraphernalia and connects to the wine cellar/tasting room… kinda feels like you’re walking into a dark cave with a bar! You’ll pay $ 3 for a stemless wine glass with their logo etched on it. If 2 people are going, it’s $ 5 for the both of you! Keep your wine glass and bring it back next time you come and you will get free tastings! The tasting includes 6 wine or cider picks of your choice. If you pick different wines than your friends, you can swap samples therefore tasting more than 6! I liked many of their wines including the Niagara and Passionate Peach! The cherry wine was pretty good too! I found the alcoholic cider to be too dry and sour for my liking. This is a great place for kids! They have a small play area in the front yard as well as a corn maze, hayrides, jumping pillow, mountain bike trail, and apple picking in the fall! The staff is very friendly and chatted with us during the tasting! I can’t wait to go back in the fall for some caramel apples and fresh cider!

The Robinette Winery is extremely approachable and perfect for the beginner looking to learn a little about wine and experience a tasting as a fun outing. An inexpensive and off the beaten path option for a date or ladies day out!

Nice wine tasting with knowledgeable employees. Nothing is bottled here. It is private labeled for them. Having this is a nice complement to their farm market, bakery, ice cream and gift shop. Nice place for a stop!

Eh. This is an okay cider mill. I am from metro Detroit where there are SO many cider mills much better than Robinette’s, but I don’t think cider mills are quite as prolific in the Grand Rapids area. Their cider is fine, not exceptional, and their donuts were tasty. Their apple prices in the little store were astronomical! To me, this is a tourist-trap style cider mill. I don’t have any plans to return to Robinette’s because there are many better cider mills out there.

Cool wine tasting, staff was knowledgeable but didn’t give us any space to talk about the wine amongst ourselves. Pretty pushy on the sell

I was very impressed with their wine selection. Cost is $ 3 for 6 samples, very reasonable I feel, and you get to keep the glass you sampled the wine in and if you return with that glass, future tastings are free! Staff was extremely helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Although I live several hours drive away, I will be returning.

Decent wines — I just bought some Niagra the other day. Tried the 3 different hard ciders they have and wasn’t that crazy about any of them. I’m generally a big fan of hard cider so I was a little bummed about that. They had Santa there at Christmastime and that was fun for the kids — stop in to see Santa and have some donuts. I am looking forward to trying some of their other wines!

If you asked me to count how many time I have driven by this place without realizing they host tastings, I couldn’t. I under estimated their expert ability to craft quality wines! Check out their apple selections!
