Sight Optical Boutique

I’ve been peeking in the windows of Sight every time I passed by on my way to Brewery Vivant and last week I had my first appointment to visit.
I’ve had had glasses since 1^st grade and contacts since I was 15 so I knew the drill when it came to my eye appointment. Even so, I felt like the doctor really listened to my needs and brought up allot of good points about taking care of contacts and getting me in the right brand of contacts. The appointment didn’t take too long but I knew she had covered all the basics including dilating my eyes and doing the dreaded ‘puff test’ that I really hate but I know is necessary.
It doesn’t appear that they have an eye doctor in every day so so call ahead to schedule.
The boutique frame studio is chic and modern with a variety in frame styles. The brands offered at Sight cater to creative, modern types — these are high end brands you aren’t going to find at the mall place. I immediately found a few eyeglass styles I liked and a friendly staff member offered up several more suggestions that matched what I was looking for. She listened to what styles I wanted and what my personality was in order to match me with a few that looked great. The frames are pricy and they don’t bill insurance so be ready to open your wallet if you purchase. They have sunglasses as well which are more fun to buy than the normal frames (at least for me) and I found a pair of Toms sunglasses I really liked.
I would recommend Sight for the great selection of hard to find frame brands, the trendy styles and wonderful service!
