Furniture itself is nice & displayed attractively. I made 3 major purchases there-one came out correctly. The store manager Ron could be a little more helpful when orders are wrong or defective-this was major struggle particularly with one of my orders. I would probably buy from them again as price point & selection suit my circumstances.

I had a great experience getting exactly the right furniture. The salesperson was helpful(but I can’t remember her name!!!) The delivery was as predicted — took about 4 weeks and the delivery was effortless. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the chair had some pulled threads and the arm guards(made of same fabric) were not with the delivery. Hopefully, this will be corrected.

We waited 4 months for a couch that was supposed to be delivered in 1 – 2 months. We would have been understanding had it not been for the horrible customer service. At least 6 different sales representatives were supposed to figure out where my couch was(apparently it had gone missing) and call back, only 1 ever did. We spoke to the manager, Ron, at the Cascade store multiple times and he always came across as irritated with us for bugging him again. When he assured us that our couch was due in last week, but never called, we finally went into the store only to find out that it had arrived 2 days prior and Ron never called. It was finally delivered yesterday(in April went we bought it in January). With the wrong pillows. We called about the pillows and was told they had to investigate what happened. We now have no timeline at all on when those will arrive.

Please don’t waste your time or money on the service here. We had such problems and lack of communication with the Talsma furniture employees. If I had not been relentless in my calling my furniture would still be in their warehouse. I have never written a bad review but I feel I should warn others not to waste their time here. With the world today I can order furniture from anywhere I went to Talsma for the service and the only thing I got was REALLYBADSERVICE. I waited for 3 months for my furniture then waited at home for delivery for 5 hours that was never delivered. Then the employee and manager had the guts to say I didn’t set up delivery. Then manager said he would call us back and make sure we got the delivery that we needed waited over 48 hrs no call. Called him and he treated us like dirt. Bottom line if you want to be treated like dirt give them some of your money. But if you would like good customer service take your business else where. We will not be going to them again! It sad to say that to a locally own business.

We browsed the selection at Talsma on E. Paris one afternoon on our great furniture acquisition mission(hey, that rhymes!). The showroom is smaller than other local furniture stores, but it was tastefully laid out and each ‘room’ was very carefully and artfully arranged. We had a very hip chick helping us who was polite, friendly, and sought to listen and understand our interior decorating needs. Price-wise, Talsma is on par with other local mid– to high-end furniture stores. Their accent pieces and artwork were much cooler and trendier than I see in most showrooms.
