****Prices online are not what is offered in the store. staff will not honor online prices.*** On 12÷30÷15 I went online to check Tropi Tan’s specials. I found some decent deals and was excited to get started tanning again. The deals were advertised as running from 12÷26−1÷14÷16 so I figured I’d just start my package after the new year. Today, ¼/16, I went in to purchase a package and on the front desk there was a different, higher, set of prices for the packages I was I interested in. I asked the girl at the front desk about the difference in pricing and she looked confused. When I showed her my print out with the online prices, she seemed confused said the online prices were wrong and she doesn’t know why they are posted that way. I asked if she would honor the online prices since after all, that’s what the company was offering. She flatly said no. She said there is no way for her to override her system and that the only prices in her system were the higher ones. There was no one else in the office to help with the issue either. In the end I paid the higher price for the 1– month membership since I need to tan for an upcoming warm-weather trip. This wasn’t the package I was interested in but the new higher cost for the other package I liked, was just too high. Yes, I’ll go and tan for the duration of the package I purchased, but seriously, the practice of posting lower prices to get people in, and then refusing to honor what you offered is shady. And if you only offer said online prices at one of your locations, clearly state that. Note– as of today ¼/16– the lower advertised prices are still on their website, same as they were on 12÷30÷15 when I printed them out.

I like the salon but their Versa Spa is subpar. I went in for a spray tan and half my body is darker than the other half, some parts are splotchy, the booth itself wasn’t wiped down on the floor(so the soles of my feet are tan — not a HUGE deal) but I slipped around the entire time I was in there and the blowers in the booth barely dried me so I was still damp when I left. I’m happy I tried it so I know not to go back to that Versa Spa.

I went here for a spray tan 2 days before my trip to Mexico. I have never had one, so I didn’t know what to expect. I went through the process and left. Later I get a call that the formula wasn’t hooked up to the hose. They just blew air on me. I had no idea how it was supposed to feel. I laughed it off. I’ve called 3 times because the first 2 times they said a manager would call me back, never happened. On the 3rd call I finally got a manager. She explained that they were mailing out my $ 30 check the next day for the mishap. This was almost 3 weeks ago and still no refund check. Don’t go here. They don’t care. Terrible service, terrible technical performance and terrible follow-up.

I went in this weekend to get a spray tan for the first time. I did some research to make sure that I got the best experience possible(clean skin, no lotions, wear loose fitting clothing, etc). The young lady at the front desk went over everything for me. She was extremely nice, professional, and thorough. She made me feel welcomed and at ease. Time for the tan. It was exactly what I expected and rather quick. I got out of the booth, looked in the mirror, and the tanning solution was running down my stomach, creating some very noticeable patches. I asked the young lady(sorry that I forgot your name) if that was normal and showed her my stomach. She immediately got the spray tan technician(which you can pay extra for) to re-do my spray tan at no cost to me. Like the first, this young lady was super nice and professional. When you can make someone standing in the underwear with a botched spray tan feel good, then you are doing something right! My spray tan looks fabulous, and I can’t wait to go back next month. As a business owner, I can say I would be proud to have these young women working for me. They did everything right and will have a repeat customer. I can’t say anything about the prices, because I am unfamiliar with tanning salon prices. The place is super clean and inviting.

Great salon… Until you want to actually use what you paid for. I was signed up for unlimited spray tanning, the only problem was… It won’t take to my skin, oh and unlimited means 5 times a month. The girl working when I was signed up failed to mention any of these aspects. Needless to say, I will not be keeping this service after one month. Plus considering the fact that their staff isn’t knowledgeable about the offers they provide, I’m shocked they are still in business.

This salon surpasses all expectations and industry standards. The equipment is always CLEAN& up-to-date(which I can’t say for some other salons!) The prices are very reasonable — in fact, even more favorable compared to competitor prices. And the staff is always courteous, friendly and helpful, but never pushy!(I come there to relax, and not to be pressured or stress out under a barrage of aggressive sales tactics). I have paid the same price for a lousy, run-down«level 4» bed from a competitor, as for an excellent-condition«level 6»(the highest) bed at Tropi Tan. But even if I had to pay more at Tropi Tan, I would — because there is absolutely NO other salon like it.
