Drove from Alaska to Grand Rapids. Upon our arrival the trailer door wouldn’t open. Was told by the 800 number to visit a U-​Haul location. This was the closest one to our new home. The staff there could tell we were at our limit (blew a trailer tire in no-​where British Columbia and was delayed by 2 forest fires in Alberta). They quickly assessed the situation and walked us through our options. Within 10 minutes they had the trailer open (something had shifted during the drive). Their courtesy and patience with us was above and beyond. And we weren’t spending any money with them! :)

I had a trailer hitch installed there after calling around to other more well known installers. I was surprised that U Haul gave me a better price than the others.
Also rented a one way trailer to haul some home furnishings to Northern Wisconsin as well as renting a smaller trailer to move a washing machine here in town. And, I have purchased moving supplies here. It may not be the lowest price for these supplies, but it is handy having a full range of items in one place. They buy back unused and unopened items.
This store also refills propane tanks and has a few storage lockers.
Al, the manager is a nice, if overworked guy.
I can recommend this U Haul to you.
