Great dinner and desert. Service was excellent! It made our anniversary special. Plenty to do while we waited for our table. I see why people drive from all around to eat here. Very pleasant experience.

This place is rather run down. The restaurant, while trying to be rustic in a «settlement» sort of way, seemed to be just down right gaudy. The floral decorations and ribbon are a bit much and overwhelming. We sat at a corner table that had an old quilt stapled to the wall alongside of a deer head I couldn’t help but wonder when the last time the area had been dusted or when the quilt was last washed — it looked dusty and grey. It made me uncomfortable to know they were so close to where we were eating. The food was«eh». I didn’t enjoy the strawberry butter with dinner — too sweet and fruity to follow it with a steak. My prime rib was fine. My husband’s hot open faced sandwich wasn’t anything to write home about. The cheese sauce on top was kind of gross — thankfully he ordered it on the side. We didn’t have a great experience with our server. It took twenty minutes for someone to take our drink order. The grounds of the place wasn’t impressive. The pens where the animals are kept barely had grass and were run down. The ceiling of the peacock pen was so low, the peacocks couldn’t expand their feathers completely. It was rather sad. I don’t think they would pass an inspection with the living conditions of the animals. There were cats roaming around the settlement. The cats were nice. The golfing area, however, wreaked of cat urine. I don’t think they clean the golfing equipment either. The handle on my club was sticky and covered with grime. My hands were filthy afterwards. I do not suggest anyone to try this place out.

Most excellent lunch on a Friday afternoon. Expect to wait. Eclectic décor — kinda Cracker Barrel Country Store gone wild. But enough about that. Food — good stuff. So — at $ 24.95 the 2-inch pork entrée is a bit steep. But that’s 1 pound. And you’d pay that easy for a 1 pound steak. The pork is tender and moist, cooked just right. I shared the pork chop with my wife. Now they add $ 2 to split the plate, but they do the work for you. Cut the pork chop and baked potato in half as well as split the salad. We thought the meal was well worth $ 26.95 for two, plus drinks. The onion blossom appetizer was hot and tasted great with two choices of dipping sauces. The flowerpot bread was excellent. Hot and with the butter and whipped strawberry butter, yummy.

Chicken $ 20. Pie $ 7 – 8. My husband and I enjoy eating out, and will pay large amounts for good food. Unfortunately, this place was not impressive. They recite the desserts obnoxiously. And repeat that they put chocolate syrup on a few. Nothing to brag about when you need to smother a dessert in chocolate syrup because it lacks flavor on its own. My husbands catfish was good. But for the price… I’ve had a lot better in illinois & Kentucky. This was the one place I’ve been saving to try for a treat with my husband. Very disappointed. The grounds are cool with a petting zoo, and playground. Food is average. Desserts… Lacking.

Don’t go here if your budget is twenty dollars. I came to West Kentucky on a work trip. I try to keep dinners at or under that amount for my customer’s benefit. I was almost able to do that(pre-tip) with the 1-inch pork chop. I think it was the best pork chop of my life, as I’ve never tasted one where the meat melts in your mouth. Oh yeah, there’s flower pot rolls, that are not of this world. I was able to take one back to the hotel to enjoy as a late night snack. Put some of that strawberry butter on that roll, and that’s a bit of heaven. I stop short of giving five stars for two reasons: * too pricey. When the main courses start at $ 18, it makes it a bit painful to eat here. I was by myself, but bring the family and you’re looking at a hundred bones. Offer some smaller and less expensive options; * too touristy. Roll back some of the gimmick or at least have a section that doesn’t have the gimmick.

Great atmosphere. Rolls are neat but more importantly they taste good. Very good sweet tea. I had the tropical pork. I highly recommend it.

Two words: Mozzarella sticks. Three more words: Bread & butter. One last word: Pie. The ambiance is beautiful here(it changes seasonally!) and the three items I’ve listed are to die for. The bread comes baked in a flower pot, and accompanied with regular AND strawberry butters. The mozzarella sticks are huge, and the batter is unlike anything I’ve had before. I could eat them day after day. And the pies are SO tall! I knocked off a star because I’m personally not so wild about the rest of the menu, but I think many people would enjoy it and think I’m crazy. A definite gem in the area!

1880s settlement stuck in 1980s — music, décor, food, service. We stopped here on road trip, needing a quick place to eat and stretch our legs. Restaurant was dark and food was above average, but severely overpriced for quality. Food prep took a ridiculously long time but waitress was very accommodating with crackers for very hungry kids. Also, this is a dry county… Grounds are well kept(even with haphazard layout) and provides a quaint diversion on long drive with a lot of free things for kids(playground, animals), but not worth it if you are pressed for time.

We stopped in at Pattie’s on the way back from a big soccer win in Memphis with the teens. The place hasn’t changed in years. We were seated almost immediately and service was great. We skipped the apps in favor of the bread. So yummy! I had the chicken Oscar with potato soup to start. It was really yummy but enough food for two! My husband and son both got the pork chop. Wow! Granny had the hotbrown. It looked really good… swimming in cheese!!! Really enjoyable pit stop!

Great food! When I lived in Murray, KY It would still be a drive to Patti’s but not anything like driving from Indianapolis! Either way, it was worth the drive! As a kid it was always fun with many things to explore and look at. Plenty of options on the menu as well. As an adult I still enjoy it just as much. From the strawberry butter served with your bread to the famous Kentucky Hot Browns. Patti’s menu has a wide variety of options that are all bursting with a lot of great taste! Highly recommend trying this hidden gem out!

Pattys would be one of those«touristy«places I’ve driven by a thousand times thinking it wouldn’t be worth planning ahead to go and have that 2» thick pork chop. Boy was I wrong. Atmosphere. …ok tourist fer sure. Outside…bunnies, chickens, pigs, and the fatest raccoon I have ever seen. The pork chop was super moist, crazy large baked potato. Start with the spinach salad. My girl had the filet…2nd best in her life.(BAXTERS in Lake of the ozarks holds that title.) Definitely will do this place again.

If you’ve never been to Patti’s it’s a must to visit. Plenty to eat, with a nice variety and desserts out of this world. I’d recommend a reservation. There are a lot of things to do in town so come early and walk around the village. After being there several times, I’ve never had a bad server or bad experience. We’ve dressed casually for lunch and fancy for supper. This is a favorite choice for birthdays and celebrations for our family.

The good: quality of food and service were excellent. Even in a large city, they’d be stand-outs. The bad: That gift shop you’re forced to navigate en route to dinner! And the hokey uniforms the waitresses have to wear. Both really smack of «an operation,» which it’s not. I wish Patti’s had the confidence(in itself, in its customers) to just stand on its quality instead of its gimmicks. The steak was as good as any I’ve had. The pork chop is amazing. The desserts are obscenely large but that’s all in good fun. This is a good place for large groups or families… maybe not so romantic for two. Prices are great for what you get, and I love the BYOB policy($ 1 per person fee for a glass).

My party of 6 went here on Labor Day to celebrate friendship, my birthday, and engagement and we seriously had a most amazing brunch! Our waitress Teresa was very sweet and knowledgable and we appreciated her humor in describing to us all the pies! We all ordered something different and everyone loved their food! One of my friends ordered the famous pork chop we’d be hearing so much about and she thought it was very tasty. Her husband ordered the fried shrimp, which came with huge hush puppies and the biggest steak fries I’ve ever seen. Seriously, basically the size of potatoes! My other friend and my boyfriend ordered the various kinds of hot browns. My friend was not as satisfied with her kentucky hot brown as my boyfriend was with his Patti’s brown. He loved the cheese topping and the crunchy fresh kettle chips! My other friend and I ordered salads. Her’s looked to me like a grilled chicken on spinach salad. I ordered the fried chicken salad and I couldn’t have enough of it! The fried chicken was so perfect, and the hot bacon dressing was amazing. But not as amazing as the chess pie. CHESSPIE! That’s what friendship, birthdays, and engagements are made of. We all took a sampling of one plate’s worth and we all agreed we should have all gotten our own! We also sampled the tower tall lemon meringue, which was yummy, but nothing like chess pie. We also enjoyed the general ambience of the place(sort of a magical fairy cabin feel), as well as the cute and tasty bread baked in flower pots(strawberry butter is magical). I do not know when I’ll be in Kentucky again, but if I do come back, I’ll come back here. Everyone, seriously everyone, recommended this place, and it really did not disappoint.

We had a reservation for Saturday August 15 and were seat after a brief wait. The dining area is dark and we were seated at a round table in a corner which was kinda awkward. Our server was a very nice young man. First the meh items– the flower pot bread was alright, the butters weren’t anything special, the diet pop was way too artificial tasting but a lot of fresh squeezed lemon helped. Now, the good stuff– the grilled chicken salad w/ranch dressing was good $ 12.99– I would order again– the seasoning on the chicken was tasty! My boyfriend had the 2 inch pork chop $ 23.99 and it was delicious! He said that his loaded baked potato was good and he liked that they had ‘good’ ranch for his salad. The others in our party of 5 had the catfish sandwich which wasn’t a hit but apparently their chips are really good, the special– a pulled pork and apple sandwich was good and another grilled chicken salad which she said was good and she really liked their croutons. We couldn’t forgo dessert so the table had a slice of lemon meringue pie– I only tried the meringue and it was good, the sawdust pie took the #1 honor as everyone agreed it was delicious, and the turtle pie which according to one of the tasters tasted strange… The bathroom stalls are kinda neat, the gift shop is stocked w/just about everything you could want including free samples of fudge :)

Some of the best food we’ve ever eaten, we had the 2″ pork chop, 2 different pasta dishes, and chicken Oscar, then for dessert we tried the coconut pie, and the boat sinker, everything was great. Our waitress was top notch, as busy as she was our drinks never got below half, and an empty plate didn’t stay on the table for very long. The only downside of this place is the prices are kind of high, and the interior decorator should be fired, just way too much going on for a «1800» settlement. All that being said I can’t wait to go back.

We’d been here before so on our way home we were nearby and decided to try it again. We tried the fried pickles again. Didn’t think they were as good as last time. We both ordered the fish. It was good but, not great and a bit expensive. I also thought the service was way too slow and they didn’t seem to be that busy. Overall, our experience was not as good as the first time here 3 years ago.

Let me say, if you travel to a place to eat and they are notes for a particular, I think you should try that dish. The menu here is expansive but I came for the two inch thick pork chop. I was not disappointed. The flavor was good and it was cooked perfectly. I had a side of mixed veggie that were cook just right not too hard or soft. I also had the other item they are noted for their meringue pies. The chocolate pie and coconut pie were great looking but the lacked the flavor I was expecting. They have a great cola selection from RC cola. I had Dr. Neigh. Our server was overworked but handled the load really well. Too many tables not enough servers seems to be the norm lately in restaurants. All in all it was a good experience and I would come back and try another one of their dishes. I would like to add that I drove 2hrs to eat here and for me to say I would do it again is saying a lot about the restaurant.

Had dinner at Patti’s the other night. This place get’s packed so reservations are a must or plan on waiting a long time. When you are in the area, there isn’t much as far as tourist type places. Patti’s is probably the one thing that seems a bit touristy around the Land Between the Lakes. That being said, it is a nice place for a meal and the food is pretty good. It can be a bit pricey but overall a good experience. I had the Apples Delight which is a pork loin wrapped in bacon and served with baked apples on top. Very nice meal. Everyone else in my party had chicken and they all liked what they had.

If you are staying near KY Dam Village or Paducah, go here. This whole area is completely charming. The outside buildings remind me of Mayberry. There are a number of cute shops around, but only if you get there before 6pm. Inside, there is a gift shop that sells the“mile high’ pies and fudge as well as some other trinkets. The best part about this dinner trip is the bread that comes in a flower pot and served with strawberry butter and regular butter. This stuff was addicting. You can also purchase the butter and flowerpot bread mixes in the gift shop. We also ordered the cheese stick appetizer. These things are HUGE and delicious. They are 5 inches long and 4 inches around. HUGE. They are fried and coated in a crunchy batter. I ordered the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing. This is a sweet and salty dressing that goes perfectly with the spinach. I wanted to request some extra dressing and do a shot of it. For dinner, I ordered some chicken and shrimp dish with veggies and cheese sauce. It was decent. A bit pricey. But I will be honest, I didn’t come there for the entrée. I wanted the bread, cheese sticks and pie. Which sadly, I was too full to get any and I was too tired to justify buying a piece and eating it later. This was a fun place to eat. It is a bit on the expensive side, so not a place I would go to every week, but a unique place to go on vacation.
