I don’t often give terribly low reviews. But the park had trash all over it. The stage had a loaded trash can dumping out sideways in front of a back drop half shredded. The dinosaurs needed paint badly. There were feces smeared around the parking lot and grass. The properties surrounding the park were heaped with junk and badly maintained. There was drug related graffiti on at least one dinosaur. And the used condom outside the bathroom was the final turnoff.

Calling for all *saur fans to visit this small city! My group of friends decided to go to Yakima valley for a day trip and I ended up volunteer to plan this road trip. After searching what’s fun in the lovely eastern Washington, I found a review from road side america website and found this fun dinosaur theme city — Granger which is not far away from where we are going. After arrived this small city, OMG, they(dinosaurs) are so real … they. are … big!!! Am I in Jurassic Park? It does echo with the city slogan — «Where dinosaurs roam». Add your own imagination when taking photos, you will find yourself being a kid again. Lots of laughter! Check out this link to read more on several fun facts about how the first dinosaur born in this city and the Dino-in-a-day.

This is such a quirky town. I found this place via an iPhone app. The whole town is scattered with dinosaurs sculptures! There is even a volcano toilet at the exit or entrance of town, depends on which direction you come from. These are life size dinosaurs, and was erected from 1994 to attract tourists. If you are on I-82 exit 58, turn south onto Hwy 223, pass the spinosaurus, then turn right onto Main St. and drive through the flanking dinosaurs. The toilets will be on the left; more dinos will be on the right, and if you continue driving you’ll see even more dinosaurs in town. I was driving to John Day Fossils Bed National Monument, and the detour was well worth it. Great pic ops.
