Laura was recommended to me by another interior designer. She interviewed well and I did hire her to help with the design of my kitchen and master bathroom.
The process was not at all what I expected. The initial meeting was short. After spending a few thousand dollars, I did not get what I wanted. The contract was signed to provide me with a design and materials selection. I did not get either. The design has to be done over as the contractors are unable to provide estimates based on the measurements or the concept. The materials selection was not handed over to the client.
My suggestion to anyone who hires an interior designer is to be EXTREMELY careful on what you will receive at the end of the process.
My experience was not a pleasant one and turned out extremely expensive in the end as I have had to re-​do everything. Needless to say the process was handled extremely unprofessionally.
If Customer Service were paramount she would try to make things right… continues to handle unprofessionally.
