Quarry Ponds

Quarry Ponds has the most awesome restaurants! Everyone in the center is friendly and the food is amazing no matter where you go. They have Peets coffee and Sparkles Ice Cream for am after dinner desert. Can’t go wrong here. Love Quarry Ponds!

My wife and I love coming here to try new places… here recently and tried Hawks and it was amazing. Have tried Petes as well. This one is a little more upscale than the one in Roseville and has a great sports bar.

This is not your average strip mall. Quarry Ponds offers a lot of different dining options that are delicious. Hawks and Peet’s are among my favorite places to drink and dine. The atmosphere is very soothing, especially the back areas overlooking the «pond.»

The fact that this small shopping center has so many good businesses, yet isn’t good is quite a mystery.
I really like Hawks. Peet’s is decent, but I’m not the coffee shop type. Toast, Pizza Antica, and Vande Rose all look decent. (I normally just make it out here for Hawks.)
The Sunday farmers’ might be good someday, but not last Sunday or the one before that where the number of famers present was somewhere between 0 and 1.
Most of the stores are pretty questionable… the Silver Spoon children’s store was full of made in china garbage and One Ripe Tomato is the unfortunate love child of a 7 – 11 and the Whole Foods dumpster. Bay Gourmet Market had a few interesting things, but the place had a very unsanitary feel about it… chocolates were refridgerated and sweating (their in-​house «pastry chef» is maybe Safeway quality, maybe), lots of prepackaged stuff, kinda like an empty Trader Joes with the occasional interesting item.
The location is really very nice for the area, management should really press the rest of the place to match their quality, otherwise it is just the same crap availible elsewhere for less money. Plus a real farmers’ market would be nice.
