This store is the worst. The lady who was making the sandwiches was very rude, and when taken to the next level employee, the manager did absolutely nothing to solve the problem. Only negative review I have ever left for a business. AVOIDTHISSTOREATALLCOSTS!!!

I’ve been going here for a while, but the service is just so bad that I’ve decided to stop. There’s one very rude staff almost every time I’m there. They’ve charged me for sandwiches that cost more than the one I actually ordered. I’ve seen very poor hygiene problems as well, handling sandwiches improperly with poor use of gloves. I don’t need a gross unsanitary sandwich, thanks. Spend a couple extra dollars and get a better sandwich from another local shop. It’s well worth it.

The lady with the mustache is very cold, rude, and I was spending hundreds a month here but have not been back in over a month now. She seemed like I was bothering her and talked to me like I was stupid. I even complained to the manager and she just smiled and said ok, no apology or anything. They will not last much longer I’m sure of it.

Well I was considering leaving a negative review so I decided to check out the current reviews on Unilocal and it looks like I’m not the only one who was not happy. I came here, there were 3 people in front of me, the cashier was like yelling quite loudly customers totals(nothing exactly wrong just seemed unprofessional, I get Subway A LOT and never experienced that. Also the lady decided to ring someone up then come put on one glove, and one hand my sandwich cause she was too lazy to put another glove on I’m assuming? Then she wasn’t even putting much on it, which isn’t the end of the world, Just the whole one hand thing was no good.

Great food, well Prepared, and the service was just as good. I was charged for a 12″ sandwich when I only Ordered a 6″ but they were very quick to correct it.

I can’t give this store what it really deserves, no stars. I have to agree with the other comments here. .. it is the worst I have ever experienced. The sandwiches are skimpy; I asked for little mayonaise and it was loaded; I didn’t want any onions, but there they were. Are they paying attention? Didn’t Alex state in the comments that he thought the management was developmentally disabled. I think the managers name is Frita, and she has a terrible attitude. If you want to have a good feeling about Subway, don’t go here. This was my second visit; I should not have come back since on the first visit there was no one at the ordering area; I had to yell out, «Hello? Anybody here?» Trust me, you don’t want to spend any time or money here.

I have been to many subways and the granite bay one is the worst. In the last week I decided to stop in twice now on my way to work. Had the same dark haired lady wait on me. She has a serious attitude. I was trying to be nice and thanked her after she asked me about toasting my sandwich. She ignores very well. She had to ask me 3 times if I wanted cheese and which one. And that happened on both visits. I realized on the 2nd visit that’s just the way she is. Rude and never once said Thank you for visiting subway, she looked angry. I think there is someone there in training and I felt seriously sorry for that person. She used plastic gloves when making my sandwich and while my sandwich was toasting, she moved a metal cart and went into the back of the store and did something, she came back out and got my sandwich out of the toaster and continued. I should have said something about changing her gloves. Was so unsanitary. I will NEVER go back to that Granite Bay Subway again. I just looked at the receipt and it says her name is Farideh– Clerk 2. It is store # 37541 I made it a point to make this entry in Unilocal, maybe the store manager will read this and make some changes. That would be very sad if she was the store manager.

I feel a little weird reviewing a fast food restaurant, but couldn’t just let this one go. ABSOLUTEWORSTSERVICEEVERINMYENTIRE30+ YEARSALIVE. Taco Bell is fine dining service compared to this place. Seriously! It must be management issues and/or underpaid employees, because they appear to never give a rats a** about quality, service or anything. I imagine that the manager is a tween who is buddy-buddy with the employees and they are all getting stoned in the walk-in, because no human can be as clueless as these kids and still manage to make it to work without getting lost. I’m not kidding. Developmentally disabled are more functional. I have a house with 3 teenagers. They love Subway. Subway is the largest fast food restaurant, so a certain continuity level should be expected, as in a Sammy from here should be remotely similar to one at the other zillion Subways. Not the case. It is not my subjective opinion that the quality of ingredients here are less than the Subway standard. It’s fact. Do they reuse, reheat, keep past expiration date? Dunno, but it’s crap. The differently abled employees have mastered the plastic gloves before handling food, but I watched TWO either wipe their nose or touch their pimply faces 6 times in one visit. Then touch food. Gross! Out of items? ALWAYS! Don’t even try to order hot items, like meatballs. They seem to reuse the previous weeks batch and then stop serving them at about 4:00. I think it takes them the remaining 6 hours to figure out how to wash the pans. Past two visits, out of 4 different meats and two breads at 5:45. So: lame & unhygienic employees, old/expired/reused product, lack of product period. I give up and will solely trek across town to Togo’s or the other Subway. I fully understand the nature of this type of business and this being a first-time job, but there is a lack of quality control over product, lack of education or supervision of employees, etc. These kids aren’t being taught how a real business should function and gaining zero job experience/growth. I regrettably but firmly believe the owner of this place should have their franchise license yanked. If the Subway co. were aware of the severity of this location, they would flip out. :-/

I only wish I Unilocaled first, Alex H was right this Subway has very poor managenment. they need to greet their customers correctly with a smile. like Alex H there one customer in front of us one both workers stopped everything to listen to his four minute story and paid no attention to us until I said«I’M HUNGRYCANWEPAY». Last time here and maybe all Subways. I’m going to Beach Hut Deli from now on.

This location definitely has management issues. I just decided that a few months should be enough to get their act together, but alas, it was not. My most recent visit was no better than my first. The employees here seem to be developmentally disabled. I arrived at 5:30, and didn’t get my sandwich and get out the door until 5:45. Here’s the kicker: there was only one guy there ordering a sandwich in front of me, and two employees behind the counter! Upon paying, they overcharged my credit card, so I had to return for a 5 minute refund process on top of the 10 minutes to make a single sandwich. So here it goes – Guys, you’ve earned this award: WORSTSUBWAYEVER!
